Shimano Ultegra 6700 is a great product and hope they keep making this line of cassettes for a while. If you keep it regularly clean you can get 4000 or more miles on it (depends on how hard you ride too).

Very crisp shifting and good cassette life

Was using a 28 and needed a little more. 30 seems to be the ticket.

Great shifting in both directions. Got this one to help on the hills for training rides. I would not expect anything other than great performance especially at a sale price. Ultegra cassettes are my go to and have never been disappointed.

Performs to spec, looks good when cleaned. Bought it since it comes in a 12-30 option. Otherwise, I'd get the 105 version.

I switched from a 12-25 to this 11-28 and have loved the versatility the gearset gives. Quality product.

Great cassette and easy to install. I need this one for hill climbing since I'm 65 years young. Paid almost [$] bucks for this one and saw it on sale for [$] a week later on a different web site. I'm ok with that.

I ride a triple, so I'm already that guy. My 12-27 wore out and I had to replace it, and Shimano doesn't offer that combination anymore, so I tried the new 12-30 wide cassette instead. It is truly like cheating to climb with. I hardly ever hit the low end of this range but it's really nice to know that, instead of one more sag gear there's like two or three of them, and if 30-30 isn't enough, just walk.
The downside is that the spacing between each cog is large enough that it's often hard to find just the right gear combination for a long slog into the wind. I still miss the 12-27, it was the perfect cassette. But the 12-30 lets me climb like i was 20 years younger, or at least fake it.

I'm 55 and I ride a lot - a lot of roads, a lot of miles, and an lot of hills. Riding 100 miles a week and 12-15 centuries a year, I need a lot of versatility - gearing for the long, flat straights and gearing for the long, slow climbs! This is my go to cassette! Paired with a standard 53-39 crank, it'll climb anything and still give me 45 mph downhills. Only cassette you'll need!
