A friend told me to buy these tires best tires Ive bought

Continental makes an excellent trainingtouring tire if high mileage and a low instance of flats are your preference. It comes in a variety of sizes so finding one to fill your needs is easy, even better when it's on sale.

If you would rather be riding than fixing flat tires, then these tires are for you. I get 8000 miles from a set of Gatorskins. I weigh 160 pounds, ride at 100 psi, and rotate tires front to rear every 2000 miles. I have not had a flat on the road in years, at least 25,000 miles. I do use slimed tubes, so I take a slight performance hit, but I like to be riding, not sitting by the road fixing a flat. These have been my only road tires for many years.

I have been using this tire for 3 years now and will never pick another tire for all around riding.

These are my 3rd set and I love em. I've had two or three flats over the years due to tire wire but over all they last 3000 miles on the rear and the flats are due to some junky roads I travel. Do about 100 miles a week and love the handling and durability. Pricey, but I bought them on sale. Worth the price either way.

I started using Gator Skin tires for Eroica with my vintage road bike. This tire proved itself on and off road (light gravel) in this ride. Since then I use Gator Skins on all my road bikes. All around its the best tire Ive used.

Puncture resistance is exceptional. Haven't had to fix a flat all year. Great tire and I have no complaints.

The deal was so good on these tires, I bought 4 tires. Started buying these tires about 6 years ago and they are still the only tire I buy. I typically have to put on new tires at 3000 - 3500 miles.

Been using Gator Skins for awhile. Handles the canyons and plains of northern CO. Durable even on gravel roads.

I used to ride on Conti GP 4000 II tires, and I got a number of punctures, as the roads in Phoenix, AZ are full of little rocks, that cut the sidewalls of the tires, although they have very good protection on the rolling band. With the Gatorskins, I have not had a puncture since I switched about 4 months ago. Great tires!

Good road feel. Great longevity.

This is the only tire I use for training and long distance races. Have never had one fail during a long ride. I usually get 3-5k miles out of them. Sidewalls will fray over time, and will not stand up to a rock or glass jamming into them, I've experienced both, each time a dollar bill or a plastic sidewall saver insert got me home. Its the only tire I recommend to new bikers...

I've been using Gatorskins for the past 4 years of cycling and long course triathlons. I did stray briefly with other highly rated tires but I'm back to Gatorskins. I'm happy to trade a few ounces for the flat protection. Some of my training routes are on roads with debris and goat's head thorns. I ride with little worry when I'm on my Gatorskins. And I get the best price on BikeTiresDirect.

Wonderful tire induces debris on the road from winter.. The tire is a little stiff and a little hard to put on the wheel at first but its a great tire .

Ride 4,000 miles without flats. If your looking for smooth or fast, get something else.

We use this tire on our Tandem. It rides and handles well as well as durable. Have reached speeds of over 50mph and it is very secure on the road.
