Reviews
I bought a used 2015 Cervelo S5 rim brake bike with Zipp 404 tubulars from a CAT1/ PRO racer. It came with 25 mm Conti Sprinter Tubs. It rode OK - similar to 28 mm Conti GP5000 clinchers with latex tubes on my Cervelo Caledonia. But when I put the 28 mm Vittoria Corsa Pro G2.0 tubs on, it rolls much faster and it is really supple. The 28 mm tires at about 80 PSI made the ride feel like I was riding on a carpet regardless of any rough tarmac. The tubs glued on straight as an arrow with absolutely no up and down bumps when riding. The Conti Sprinters tubs had up and down bumps that I felt when going downhill at speed. I am never going back to any other tubular. Life is too short to ride bad tires.
Ive bought this tire numerous times, great product and great customer service from BikeTiresDirect.com. I only wish there was more of a selection for sewups (or the old school tubulars), I guess Im one of the few that still prefers them. I get it, supply and demand. Just dont stop selling these tires.
