Reviews
I initially tried the silca sealant because it was supposed to be better for higher pressure road applications.
I havent had any flats. So theres that.
My issue is it seems to dry up in the tires very quickly, I had a rim tape failure and had to pull the tires off the bike and there was a massive amount of dried up latex all over the inside. Far more than I recall getting with Stans. I think because i have had to refill it so many times.
Im thinking about just swapping back to Stans, given it was always reliable, can be injected thru the valve, and it doesnt dry up as quickly (only the replenisher Can be injected for the silca product).
Im thinking this product might be great at what it does but I just dont get enough punctures to make it worth the hassle.
I had high hopes for this sealant however -it is difficult to work with and it solidifies very quickly. There were lumps of this substance almost petrified within my tire. I do not recommend it.
