Reviews
I purchased these boots because I was having some pain in my toes with my previous boots. I normally wear a 40.5 (I do not have a wide foot) and sized up to a 42 so I could wear two pairs of wool socks in them. These boots check all the boxes for me. No foot pain at all when wearing 2 pairs of socks. They keep my feet warm in temperatures in the low 20's with a lot of wind and 2 hour+ rides. They are also lighter than my previous boots and very easy to put on and adjust with the boa fastener. They seem to be made well and I'm sure I'll gets years of use with them. I haven't worn them in the rain yet so I can't comment on that. Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase.
I ride a fat tire bike in the winter in Colorado. Use to have cold feet but these keep my feet nice and warm. The lowest temp I have ridden in is 28 for 5 hours. Keeps my feet nice and warm. I sometimes stuff a foot warmer in at 28 but anything above i don't need them.
I've been using these since receiving at Christmas. For 25F to 50F they've been great. On those cold mornings commuting my feet stay warm enough. I'm not sure how they are in the teens because it hasn't been that cold yet where I live. I rode over the weekend in mid to high 30's and got stuck in a rain storm. My feet never knew the difference, still warm & dry. I highly recommend. I went with the same size as my Shimano shoes, if you like thick socks in the winter months consider going up a half size.

I've not had these a full winter yet, but so far I've been impressed. I'm glad I picked up the "wide" version as cycling shoes are too damn narrow to begin with (and I don't have wide feet), as there is room for thicker socks, and a nice air gap, both important for cold, wet weather riding. Paired with a thermal insole insert and these shoes have proven plenty warm on some cold days. For the wet, again, so far so good. Time will tell, but these have keep the wet out pretty well. Versions of these shoes have been around for a while, but I finally decided on a purchase since Shimano finally gave the shoe a flap and monolithic surface for easy cleaning, coupled with BOA closure. The reflective bits on the heel and back are a nice touch as well. Thank you Shimano!
