The Shimano DH-UR700-3D Dynamo Hub employs a new internal unit construction that is lighter and also reduces dynamo drag while producing 3 watts. It is designed for 26 to 28-inch quick-release wheels and is available in black with a 32 hole drilling.

This model is billed as Shimano's "Ultegra" quality hub even though it's not in the Ultegra group (it's Deore XT). It's the lightest dyno-hub Shimano makes, and it's the best cost-to-weight ratio you can get out of any dynamo hub on the market.

The Shimano DH-UR700-3D Dynamo Hub is perfect for a commuter or adventure bike. You can produce power for a front light or a GPS device in the event that you cannot charge these electronics elsewhere. The Dynamo Hub is the only way to make your bike fully self-sufficient, night and day.
