Reviews
I normally ride on Conti GP5000s, and install new tires on my bike at approximately 1,200 miles (BTD can confirm how many tires I buy). I decided to change things up and try these Michelin Power Cup clinchers after reading excellent reviews and very positive rolling resistance data. I just mounted these a few days ago, and only have 96 miles on them but they have a really nice feel, and a generally positive response to dealing with the worn pavement I normally ride on. I would definiltely recommend these tires and just may buy them again depending on how they respond to the wear and tear I will subject them to over the next thousand miles.
REALLY PLEASED AT 6 RIDES AND 230 MILES ON THIS TIRE. I quit tubeless surprise garage flats and only run tubes for road bike. This tire is fast and flexible for a plush ride. It is easy to install with
thin spoons like the old GP4 days but faster. i like knowing that I can fix a flat with out pinching a tube and believe its as fast as my tubeless were. This is an upgrade to every thing else I ve run. Ordering more.
I purchased these last year. Installed before this season. I have about 400 miles on them. The rear started thumping like a truck recap. I installed a cheap spare and all is well. I'll be looking elsewhere for tires in the future. Big money should at least yield usable products.
I recently tried the Michelin Power Roads and was very impressed. Thus I was planning to reorder those, but they have been replaced by the Power Cup. These are slightly lighter than the Power Roads and paired with TPU tubes make a big difference on climbs for me. My only complaint is that they only come in black. The red sidewalls of the Power Roads looked so good on my bike!
