Description
The K40 is a reliable yet inexpensive tire for recreational use. Its grooved tread provides traction without slowing you down on the pavement.
This version of the Kenda K40 Tire is available in 24 x 1 3/8 inch (37-540 ISO), a size used on some children's bikes. This is the same diameter used on most wheelchairs as well. 55 PSI max. 60 TPI. Wire bead. Black/Gumwall. 503g.

Nice look for a classic bike, but within a few months, the gumwall on one side of the tire started to separate from the tire, and now there's about 8 of exposed subtread on the wheel.
For the price, I guess that shouldn't be a huge surprise, but a bit disappointing. If you're just trying to get a bike nice looking for little rides around the block this is probably fine, but if you're updating a classic cruiser with the intention to use it regularly, look elsewhere.
I was looking for tires for a vintage Schwinn bike. Found these Kendras in your website. Installed fairly easily. Have not been used much yet but they should be fine.
Durable, easy to use tire that puts that original look back on your bicycle where it belongs!
