I had no clue about which bike pants to buy so I chatted with the BTD rep. He listened to my list of what I wanted and recommended these. They are excellent. So good that after my first ride I bought a second pair. They are everything that I wanted and nothing that I didn't want. I wear bulky knee pads every time I ride, so I need pants that will comfortably accommodate that. These do. I wanted two zippered side pockets. Check. Narrow cuffs with no cinching devices. Check. An adjustable cinch on the waist, no bunched elastic. Check. Stretchy fabric. Check. Warm in cool weather, but won't over heat me. Check.
'Looks good in the pub after a ride.' WTF? Who wears dusty/muddy, sweaty bike clothes to a pub? Fortunately, these pants were designed for functional, not for fashion.
