I had no clue about which bike pants to buy so I chatted with the BTD rep. He listened to my list of what I wanted and recommended these. They are excellent. So good that after my first ride I bought a second pair. They are everything that I wanted and nothing that I didn't want. I wear bulky knee pads every time I ride, so I need pants that will comfortably accommodate that. These do. I wanted two zippered side pockets. Check. Narrow cuffs with no cinching devices. Check. An adjustable cinch on the waist, no bunched elastic. Check. Stretchy fabric. Check. Warm in cool weather, but won't over heat me. Check.

'Looks good in the pub after a ride.' WTF? Who wears dusty/muddy, sweaty bike clothes to a pub? Fortunately, these pants were designed for functional, not for fashion.

Great shoe with ample pedaling stiffness while still being comfortable to walk/hike in. I ride on spd XT pedals which have absolutely no platform so the shoe needs to be stiff enough to compensate. I wanted a shoe that was more trail, less XC that had boas. These fit the bill beautifully. They're roomy in the toe but can crank down via the front boa for those with normal to narrower feet. The toe is burly enough to protect against rock strikes and my only issue I've had was the tongue is a little thin at the top where I was having a little discomfort from the top boa cord early on. My feet seem to have gotten used to it, or the shoes have broken in in such a way that it isn't as much an issue now. I've been riding these for a couple months and I love them. They are a little pricy IMO, but otherwise, great shoes.

I can't say enough good things about these gloves. They are the perfect weight and fit for colder temps down to 40's. I have used a lot of gloves from road brands that are much more expensive, and these are my favorite.

Although I haven't tested these with as fall, I have worn them for several months, I own three pairs. The "chamois" is thick and does a great job of keeping the bottom from feeling sore after a couple of hours in the saddle. Might feel too thick if you're shuttling all day and don't put in a lot of saddle time. Quality is solid, no issues with seams, the thighs stays down with the non slip material very well. I will be purchasing another pair or two.
