Reviews
I've run Race King 26-inch MTB by Continental on my Cannondale F3 since 2014. Not one flat tire in that time. I recently changed over to another tire with softer rubber and a tighter tread design. With the new tires I experienced a tube puncture on second ride and so have switched back to the Race King.
Race King is a reliable tire that holds grip on a wide range of trail conditions.
Usual rides are 20-30 mile XC on regional gravel paths, cattle ranch livestock paths, and flowing single track MTB trails. Shorty after buying theses I noticed my front mounted tire had a very pronounced high spot bounce especially noticeable on smoother straight high speed sections. Also I'm suspect on the stated grip as now I'm arm tattooed with a bad case of trail rash from a front end slide out on a turn. Dry conditions. Replaced this front tire with my old one until I can find another set that gives me confidence. Not satisfied with this purchase.
These tires are really good. They're true to size, and installed easily enough on my old non-tubeless rims. They're pretty light for the size. They roll really nicely and have good grip for a mid knobby tire. Highly recommended!
This is on the front wheel of my full suspension cross country bike. Tracks well, quiet. Rolls very smoothly.
It was on special a Bike Tires Direct so it was a great deal!
