This bag is so useful to me I don't know where to start. It's currently the 'one bag' strapped to a rear rack as a single small pannier, holding all trail tools needed to repair most issues, some food, keys, and other pocketable items. It'll even fit up to 2 20 oz bottles when empty. There's two elastic pockets on the sides of the bag for bars or keys, and MOLLE as well, so the bag can be attached to other bags.
Here's where it gets interesting. This bag for me is also a second bag that's attached to a Moosetreks handlebar bag for bikepacking, serving as a day bag for electronics and a small camera. This versatility makes this urban bag feel more like part of a bikepacking system when used this way.
It can also be used as designed, as a front bag to and also features hidden sling straps so it can go with you anywhere.
I really like this bag
This is a really durable bag, the material is heavy duty. I've put everything from bike tools to about $50 of groceries in it. Feel very stable since the main compartment is just one big plastic lined tub. I have even used the entire bag as a cooler with ice and beers at the beach with no real leaks.
Down side is I wish there was a few more compartments. There is one small zip compartment on the outside good for keys, wallet and phone so they aren't floating around the main compartment.
I've been an owner of the barrage cargo backpack for a couple years now. I am an avid cyclist commuter and this bag provides all the functionality and protection I need. The cargo netting is perfect for stowing my walking shoes since I ride clipped-in. The welded bucket lining provides waterproof protection for all my precious gear and the bag itself is super cool looking to boot! It's also made right here in the USA!
I highly recommend this backpack to all cyclist commuters.
