When ENVE let the science guide their quest for the ultimate aero road wheel, the SES 6.7 Carbon Disc Brake Wheels were the result. Beyond a depth of 70m, aerodynamic gains begin to taper off as weight increases. The SES 6.7 strikes the ultimate balance between aero efficiency, stability, and weight savings. The SES 6.7 replaces the venerable SES 7.8 as the flagship aero wheel model in the SES lineup due to its lower weight, greater versatility, and matched drag reduction.

Real-world aero performance to ENVE means developing wheels and components that perform not just in the wind tunnel, but on the open road, on any bike at any speed. To deliver on this promise, the SES wheel lineup continues to feature front and rear wheels that are developed for the specific flow field for which they are intended. Front wheels are designed to maximize stability and handling while rear wheels are optimized for drag reduction.

When Speed Matters Most

The SES 6.7 has been aerodynamically optimized around a labeled 27mm tire since data shows unequivocally that in real-world riding conditions, a higher volume tire provides more speed, confidence, and control. As such, we developed the SES 27 tire to be the high-volume race tire for the modern road cyclist. Featuring a 23mm internal rim width, the SES 6.7 can be paired with a 25mm tire, but for those wanting to decrease rolling resistance and maximize speed, a 27mm-28mm tire is the optimal labeled tire width.

Like the rest of the SES wheel line, the SES 6.7 has been optimized for road tubeless performance and features a hookless bead design that allows for the precise rim dimensions required to achieve the best tubeless performance. To further improve tubeless tire and rim reliability, this aerodynamic carbon fiber wheelset features ENVE's patent pending Wide Hookless Bead, a design element at the leading edge of the rim that provides a more forgiving surface, that when impacted, will reduce the likelihood of pinch-flatting a tubeless tire.

Innerdrive Premium Road Hub

New for 2024 is the ENVE Innerdrive Premium Straight Pull hub. Oversized steel ratchets are positioned inboard and over the bearings, reducing stress on the axle and bearings while ensuring positive and reliable engagement. Plus, it delivers 60 grams of weight savings over ENVE's previous generation hub offering with interchangeable ratchets, consistent spoke lengths, and anti-twist spoke holes for added simplicity and durability.
