This bag does a very good job in protecting your wheels. I also like the compartments to store skewers.

On one hand, it seems like a lot of money for the Zipp Dual Wheel Bag, but on the other hand, the purchase of my 404 Firecrests was a significant investment and they deserved protection. At approximately 4% of the purchase price, I decided that my peace of mind was worth it. The bag does everything as advertised, the wheels and skewers fit neatly in the bag, and the padding protects the wheels from shocks. On a recent three week road trip, the bag protected my wheels while in the vehicle and during frequent hotel check-ins. I'm glad I made the purchase and recommend it for you.
