PRO I purchased a pair of these almost 4 years ago, and mounted them on a fixed gear bike, on wheels I hand-built myself. I've put approximately 4000 miles on them. The rear gets a lot abuse on a fixed gear bike and both tires are still in fairly good shape. I inspect them after each ride and remove any embedded sharp objects, and have not had any flats. Although they are rated up to 145 psi, I inflate them to 125 psi. I don't brake much, and the wheels have stayed true.
CON When cornering, they are not as stable and don't grab the pavement as well as other brands I have used (which ride like sew-up tires), but those only last 800-1000 miles and they're more expensive.

I've been riding Fortezza TriComps for a couple decades it seems. At times I venture off and try other brands but I keep coming back because I've always loved the round profile and the cornering and they've always been pretty rugged. While I raced on them for a few years in my relative youth, I now I pretty much race Strava. No matter, I love the Vredesteins!

I used Fortezza TriComps for years and was disappointed when they replaced it with the Senso a few years ago. I tried the Senso and the Gran Fondo, but they rode nothing like the TriComps. The TriComps are silky smooth, steer well, have excellent flat protection and are outstanding in the rain. I found the Senso to be a step down in all of those qualities so I was ecstatic when they brought the TriComps back. I typically get 3000-3200 miles out of a front and then I move it to the back, where I can often get another 1000 miles before I decide to retire it. I use the 25mm tires on HED Belgium C2 rims and they measure about 27.5mm in that scenario. Absolutely the best!

As a larger (200 lbs), stronger, and faster rider than the average old man, pinch flats, particularly on my front wheel, were an all too common experience while using more typical 120 psi rated tires. The higher inflation pressure possible with my Vredesteins has eliminated that problem. Other riders may then be interested in tire life and the more esoteric concerns of cornering, ride quality, etc., all of which are meaningless when fixing a pinch flat on the side of the road. I ride reliably on my Vredesteins and I love them!

Been riding the Fortezza's for years. No reason to switch. Reasonable price, good performance and decent wear. I usually get 1500-2000 miles on the rear tire and double that on the front.

Wow I loved these tires at first! Smooth rolling, great grip in the corners and no flats. That is, until I had a complete failure of the rear casing after just 1000 miles. I ride mostly on chip-seal roads, which are quite harsh, especially right after the new tarmac is layed down, which was done in spring. Noticed a wobble on my ride yesterday, followed by a complete blowout. There's a hole the size of a quarter in the center of the rear tire where the casing has worn away. Toast. I guess I need a tougher, heavier tire.

Been riding on these for years. The tires are very durable and their ride is supple. Why pay more for tires that don't last or perform as good. They don't really square of like some tires wear and have been able to get a lot of mileage. They are good for at least a whole season of riding and more.

These tires rode great and were very easy to put on. Worked with a staff which game you good solution. I have about 500 miles on them and they are still wearing great

These are great rolling tires with wonderful grip for cornering. I inflate to 100-105 psi on 25s and they are joy to ride. The bread is very tight but laying them out in the Colorado sun for a few minutes makes it easier to install without pinching the tube.

This tire is mounted on three of my bikes and to tell you truth folks this is a smooth riding tire, Great grip on wet or dry conditions, Very easy to mount!! Flat protection is also excellent! I moved over to this tire from gator skins as I wanted to run softer tires for smother ride and let me tell you these work for me as Im 166 lbs rider, I use 23mm and 25mm size tires depending on how far and rough the road is

I'm so happy with these tires. 1st time with the 25mm width and what a difference. Much smoother on the roads that I've used all the time. Highly recommend.

I have 2000 miles on these tires and think i should be able to get another 1000 from the back. I love i can run more than 120psi. As riding in pot hole city, I have got more pinch flats than punctures, i havent got a single one. They seem to get cut fairly easy make sure to wipe the tire if going through debris.

I like the ease on mounting the tire. The high psi rating. The price was nowhere else to be found. I have a couple of hundred miles on them and this is the tire I would absolutely recommend. I have used Vredestein tires many times. I do triathlons and road ride as well. Nothing else for me.

Picked these up on sale after a friend suggested them. I'm running these on my Cervelo P2C for training and racing and have no complaints at all. Two 70.3 races, 2 sprints, and 2 months of training and they are holding up great. 0 flats even though there is a lot of junk on the roads where I train. Will definitely buy these again.

I have used this tire and its predecessors for years. I would not even bother to look for another. Resists cutting,
excellent handling, and long lasting. When discounted by Biketires Direct, this is the best bargain in all of cycling.

Put it on - no issues, aired it up, let out most of the air and bounced the tire around (my method to make sure the tube is not pinched or creased somewhere inside the rim. Aired it up again. I have been riding it since without problems. I have ridden on wet and dry surfaces, all is good!

Been riding Vredestein Fortezza Tricomps for probably ten years. They are a great training and racing tires.
I love them because I like a high psi tire. They ride well, and wear well.
My first choice in tires by a long shot.

I have used this tyre as an all weather tyre and have had no issues or problems with it all. Very resistant to punctures i love the longevity and value for money. In my opinion its a great investment and performs better than many more expensive brands.
I loved the orange on orange color scheme even tbough its tough to find these days.

I am never disappointed with these tires. I use them on both my rainbike and race bike year round. For a clincher they will take a very high PSI. The rubber is also very responsive on cornering. Solid buy all the way around!
