These are on my road bike, for a mix of commuting and just plain long rides. I rotated them at 4700 miles, they're around 7500 miles now. Really, 7500 miles. I check for debris before every ride, and I keep them inflated to the pressure I like (a little low, since I'm a little light). I live in St. Louis. The city is poor, the roads are mostly not in good condition, so I hit my share of potholes, and run over sharp train tracks more than once on just about every ride. There is broken glass everywhere. I have had exactly two flats the whole time I've owned these, in both cases I pulled a nail from the tire when I stopped. I recently bought another pair because these are getting pretty ugly, lots of little nicks and surface cuts, but they aren't expanding just multiplying. As far as performance goes, I cannot tell that they are any slower than the GP4000s I switched from. They do feel slightly harder at the same pressure, on the other hand they grip better, especially on slick surfaces and loose surfaces.

My daily 22 mile commute on the glass-studded streets of North Portland really takes a toll on tires. I've been using GatorskinsGator Hardshells for a few years. Nearly always, the tires end of life comes from a vicious stab wound - not from old age.
So far, the Rubinos feel faster, lighter and smoother, and seem to be holding up well on the commute.
I run 28s, and the Rubino 28 is a bit smaller than the Gators.
Get them on sale and it's a no-brainer - great value.

I have only ridden these tires for about 500 miles on the front and rear so far. However, I have to say that I am super confident when I ride on them. I used to use race tires for my commute to work until they started to do some work on one of the main streets. The Rubino Pro 28's are really plush even pumped up to 90lbs compared to race tires I was riding on, plus I definitely feel more confident they won't flat on rough roads. They also have great traction on wet roads.

Four star since I have to save room for improvement. 12 years of road biking I tried many brands and models. This tire I found to be the best of the lot. Very good traction, decent weight, very good for avoiding flats and excellent for long lasting miles.

I've been riding these for years and thoroughly trust and enjoy both their comfort and resistance to punctures. Rode them in the Dolomites and in Mexico and put on over a hundred miles a week here in New Mexico where the road conditions can be daunting- especially in the Fall when the goathead thorns are lurking in the roadway. They don't seem to bother these tires. I replace them only because I feel like I should after so many miles, but I end up rotating them back on since they wear incredibly well. I wish they didn't cost so much.......but they're worth it.

I ride year-round with these tires and typically get 2,500 miles per pair. I've only had 2 flats in the past 2 years, both due to sharp pieces of glass. I find the 25mm tires to roll softer than the 23mm tires on our Texas chip sealed roads.

1,600 miles and still going. I live in South Florida where it rains HARD when it does come down. I have never had a grip issue in any condition and only flatted twice, one being a staple straight into the tire the other I did not see the cause of but replaced the tube and have kept going on it since months ago. I am looking for ANY reason to switch to Continental, which makes my favorite MTB tire, but these Vittorias give me no reason to make a change.

2,5000 to 3,000 miles per year on my bike. 120 PSI. Never (I mean never) had a failure (hope I didn't just jinx it.) Immediately noticed a much quieter and smoother ride than my previous Continentals. Great price, too.

I've put about 600 miles on these tires (25s) and am very pleased with their ride quality. They roll smoothly and grip corners like velcro. The 150 TPI is clearly at work here adding lots of suppleness, but I haven't noticed the greater wear I'd expected from a higher TPI tire. Our roads are pretty crummy here (freeze action, utility digging), so these tires are getting a good durability test and holding up well.
Not cheap, but I bought these on a special discount; that merits a 5-star value rating.

This is my 5th set of Rubino Pro III's and second set of 700x25's. I am extremely happy with them. They provide a soft ride and I have averaged 2,550 miles per pair and have only had 2 flats in nearly 3 years.

I put about a hundred miles on my bike a week (wish it could be more), mostly in city conditions. My prior tires tended to get cut up and unusable pretty easily, and they weren't inexpensive. And changing flats often on the road is a buzz kill. I switched to this tire because friends I ride with had Vittorias and they never seemed to flat. I'm not a racer, but I like to ride hard and fast, and these tires ride well and take all the punishment I can dish out. I've got nothing negative to state about them.

For years I have been running the Continental Tires( Grande Prix 4000, Gatorskins )and knew they were quite good so I was reluctant to switch and try these tires. Well, glad I did and they ( Vittoria Rubino Pro's ) will be the next tire I purchase as well. These are great tires. They resist flats very well, gets lots of mileage( these suckers last! ) , the ride is nice and smooth, grip in the corners and I swear I can go a bit faster. Also, for the price we have to pay for skinny bike tires these days, these are priced better than the Continentals and think they are a better tire. Happy Riding.

This tire is an exceptional value. Lower in cost than competing brands, good durability, and fairly supple.

I used to use the more pricey Conti Gatorskins for puncture resistance, but I've had better luck with the Vittoria Rubinos Pro III Road Tires. Ride feels pretty much the same, perhaps a little more grab with the Vittorias. I finally did get a flat from a tack on the road, not to much you can do about that.

I bought these tires in thinking that not only am I getting a stylish look that will complement my bike, but are durable as well. I was wrong! I read the other reviews about blow out and how they don't last, but the description of handling in water convinced me to try them. The tire did handle well in water, but the strong walls and withstanding of road hazards must have been left in the factory. The tire did not last 300mi! I had 3 blow outs, both a week apart. When I say both I mean I had two in one day! I'll stick to Gator skins or Armadillo's from now on, the colors are great but that's where it stops.

I just finished the season one my first set of Vittoria Rubino Pro III tires. I logged 2,200 on the tires, in a variety of conditions, without a single flat. The tires were rotated after about 1,000 miles.
I just ordered a new set of Vittoria's for the upcoming season.

I been using this tire for over a year now and have logged over 4000 miles on my first pair. I could have gone more, but switched them out for a new set. Let's see how long these last. So far, over 1000 miles!

I ride three times a week (about 80 miles) in wet and dry conditions. These tires give me good grip in both.

Great durable tire with lots of color choices. 600 miles on the tires so far with no punctures and they still look new.
