Great ride sure handling good wear. Used for fast training and racing.

I got a crit frame (mostly cuz it was on sale), so I ride a bike with a sick rear triangle-fun but not compliant. For our chewed-up roads I had to get some compliance, so it was a three-pronged attack-already had a Fizik Aliante, got a compliant-specific carbon seat post, & went to 25c cx111. Yeah, could notice the softer ride, but when I ran cx111 on both frnt and rear, then the bike really took off. Yes, definitely more flat-prone, & they don't last long at all. But I've had good luck w/WesternBW giving me good prices. This negates part of the fact they dont last at all. if you call and ask (so far at least) they seem to be giving me sale prices after sale is over...good luck...NOTE you can take an old cx111 and actually pull the tread off the casing (no, its not easy-cut tire 1st & go in from cut edge, not side). Use remaining carcass to glue in as a boot (any kind of tire). Piece of carcass is soft, light, & malleable so it travels well on ride as emergency item. Hope that helps...

I ride these tires for comfort. Many of my local roads are pretty rough, either they are just old, or they are a chip-and-tar surface with a pebbled texture creating high-frequency vibration. At 700x25 these tires provide a slightly larger contact patch to roll easier over texture, plus they have a supply casing to deform a bit better than average to absorb the chatter. Slight downside is that I don't think I will get more than 4,000kms out of pair (rotating front-back at about 2,000kms) compared to about 6,000kms out of Michelins I have been riding.

I have found these tires to be very light and tough. I have about 700 miles on them at this time and have had no punctures. They are not described as the longest wearing tire, but if you don't have punctures, I will take the lower wear rate every time. Yes I would recommend these tires.

These tires are the best riding clinchers I have ever experienced. All other tires now feel harsh. I am now spoiled.
