Awesome

I see a lot of people comparing these to the GP5000. I havent done a back to back comparison, because I gave up on GP5000 two years ago after THREE sidewall blowouts and several punctures. I had tried both tubeless and latex. Since then, I had been riding 28mm Corsa Controls with NO punctures, getting about 3k miles out of them before needing to change the rear tire due to wear.

But enough about the Conti tires. I have finally made the switch to N.EXT tires, and decided to go with 30mm. They measure to 30.5mm on my 24mm internal rims. I use Vittoria latex tubes.

I am SO happy with these. They roll faster than the Corsa Controls, they have amazing grip, they are super comfy over bumps, and they are easy to mount. Theyre also 60g lighter per tire than the Controls (120g lighter for a pair is actually noticeable) Cant speak to longevity yet, but Ive put about 250 miles on them and unless some ugly flaw reveals itself, I will be sticking with these all year. Maybe one day I will try the GP5000 with a latex tube right after riding these so I can really see the difference, but as an everyday rider who wants to go fast and lives in an area with lots of construction debris, glass, potholes, wet leaves, ice and wet pavement during the winter, I prioritize durability and grip over pure rolling resistance. Even with that said, I believe that the rolling resistance tests dont always tell the full story because they dont account for the varying levels of choppy pavement that youll face, and they dont account for speed you gain by being able to take corners confidently and with more grip.

If youre on the fence about the N.EXT, I say give these a shot and use latex tubes. As a former tubeless rider, I can say that latex is just as good but without all the messy sealant. Also buy a micrometer for precise measurements and use Silcas tire pressure calculator to find your ideal PSI. If you dont go with these tires on my recommendation, thats fine, but at least try latex tubes so that the demand doesnt disappear and then we are all forced to use tubeless. I promise, they arent that finicky to install, just throw them in a baggy with a little powder and shake it around and then install them like youd do with any tube. Check that its not pinched, and inflate. Carry butyl or TPU as your spare so you dont have to worry about powder while youre on the road if you have to fix a flat. Easy!

Great riding tire, but too many flats

Maybe it's just a summer of bad luck for me, but I went through three of these tires since May. Every single one of them flatted, but not just a small puncture that left the tire intact. No, all three of them made a big enough cut either in the tread or in the casing to make it uncertain to use for long weekend rides.

I liked the ride quality well enough and grip and handling were as much of an improvement as I expected coming from the Rubino Pro I was using. After spending $200 on trying to make this tire work, I decided to try the Conti GP 5000 instead. Surprisingly, I can tell how much nicer the ride is on that tire in comparison (Corsa on front, GP5000 on back). I'll replace the Corse on front with a GP5000 when it's time to do so.

Thank you for your feedback.

So far I have about 500 miles on the tires. Great ride and feel. I thought the tire was easy to mount on my Fulcrum rim which is important to me especially if I need to repair a flat on a ride.

Super fast rolling tire

This is my first time trying out this tire. It is a very fast rolling and supple tire just as they advertise. In fact, you will notice it from the get go that these tires roll! Im 12-15 rides in and my average speed is still around a half mile per hour faster every time, and Im still faster on the bike I put these on compared to my other road bikes. Its crazy. Yet, its soft and supple at the same time so its a great combination, especially if you like to ride fast. Though the tire is on the narrow side. When I mounted these they reminded me of my old 700x23mm tires. So I inflated the tires and measured them with my caliper and they came out at 25.7mm when advertised as 26mm. Then I measured my other tires (vittoria rubino pros 700x25mm) and those measured at 26mm even. These are not the high volume tires that you see a lot these days. I do prefer a higher volume tire but thats ok. If you want to ride fast on your group rides or compete these are worth a try.

Solid Tire

Corsa N.EXT are my tire of choice.I try to balance mileage with puncture protection. Only had one puncture last year and none thus far this. We have a large scrap metal company here so there is quite a bit of small metal on the shoulders of the road around these parts.Got 1,200 miles out this rear tire, but usually it lasts longer. Excessive heat could be a factor this time. front tire should be good into August, at least. Been using them for three years now without complaint.

good tire for bad pavement

I'm using the 34 mm tube version. As others have mentioned the tires installed easily, mine on 25 mm (inside) tubeless rims. After a few days at 50 psi they measured about 35.5 mm wide and 30 mm high.

My first impression is these tires are surprisingly comfortable for their size. They really soften the most awful torn-up pavement I can find. They're also fast, fairly light, handle well, and make my touring bike feel like a road bike.

I've ridden these tires a bit on hard dirt, soft dirt, and gravel. They're not off-road tires but I found them usable. Grip is fine on anything hard and dry but I haven't ridden them in the wet. For me, around 165 lbs, they're too small to work well on soft stuff.

After just 150 miles I can't comment on puncture resistance or tread life. However I like them and plan to put enough miles on them to find out.

Compared to the 36 mm Challenge Strada Bianca Pro I found the 34 mm Corsa N.EXT to be smaller (by more than 2 mm), much easier to mount, less expensive, and to have better grip.

Compared to the 32 mm Continental Grand Prix 5000 I found the 34 mm Corsa N.EXT to be more comfortable but a bit heavier and slower.

More flats in a month than prior 5 years

fast tires but WAY to delicate.

flatted after 1st ride

flatted twice another ride but couldve been due to low pressure after replacing tube

final flat on a pothole which ive hit on many prior occasions w/ out flatting

lets put it this way after that last flat I was more than happy to buy a new set of Pirellis and had the bike shop install them tubeless. I am never looking back.

I like this tire!

Been using Vittorias and like them a lot! The NEXT is still a cut above. They last even with crap NW weather and our smooth and give confidence with turns/braking. Ill keep buying until something better comes along!

This is the best tire Ive ever ridden n my 63 yesrs

This tire rides like a silky smooth buttery ride dream.

And I can get it on and off rim easily.

Running 60 lbs instead of 100 and NO loss of efficiency!

How counter intuitive is that !

The non believers dont know what they are missing !

Best bike addition Ive ever made to my 12000$ bike for 69$!

Decent tire but not as fast as hoped

I tried these as a replacement to the Conti GP5000 tube 32mm tire. I was hoping these would roll like their Corsa brothers, but, alas they require more effort to move. I'm confident Vittoria achieved its durability goal and has made a wonderful training tire that beats the Rubino. I am going back to the GP5000s with tubes as I liked the speed performance better and frankly never had a flat (though mounting/removing the GP5000 is a disaster). I would rather side on the race tire with adequate durability than the N.EXT which likely has greater durability but loses watts on the roll.

They wear way too quickly.

Prior to purchasing these tires I watched the video review that Bike Tires Direct did as well as the customer reviews. I have now purchased 3 of these tires. They wear real quick. I've purchased TT race tires that wear better. The first set I put on the rear tire lasted about 300 miles. It developed a slit in the tread perpendicular to the rotation or across the tread. I thought I might have run something over so I ordered a replacement for the rear. I now have a little under 900 miles on the rear replacement and the tread is chunking off of the rear tire. I pump the rear tire to just over 90lbs. Normally 92 on my pump gauge which when measured with a high quality digital gauge comes out to 90PSI. I get over 3000 miles on a set of Continental GP5000s. Normally around 3500 miles. I have tried Pirelli Pzero race and gotten 3000. and Specialized Sworks Turbo Griptons and gotten around 3500 miles. I am very disappointed with these tires. I really feel that Bike tires direct should re-evaluate selling these tires and I think that their review should mention the incredibly poor life of these tires. I would not purchase these tires and It makes me leery to order from Bike tires direct again. These tires blow Chunks. Literally.

Excellent Tires

Tried a few pair of Continental and threads started coming off the sides. Pirelli seemed too mushy. I set these up with TPU tubes and they have been excellent. I am now afrAID TO TRY ANYTHING ELSE.

Great tire after the first 750 miles

I love Vittoria tires and their N.EXT seems to be another great one. Easy to install, rolls great and very comfortable. No issues with flats and hopefully will get great mileage out of it.

Very Good

I've got these in the 28mm size. I have found them supple, not quite in the same league as the Veloflex Corsa Evo but still very good. I also found them easy to mount and so far no issues with durability. Rolling resistance seems fine. I think any small difference in rolling resistance between tires would be impossible to feel. The thing I like most is the way they handle. They have a V shaped profile which gives them a nice quick turn in when cornering. The turn in is noticeably quicker the the Veloflex that have a more rounded profile. Of course this may depend on your rim width. They also seem to grip very well in high speed descending. I would highly recommend these tires as high performance tires with decent durability. I would give them a 4.5 if I could but I can't so I rounded up to 5:-) Thumbs Up!

Essentially as described.

After a season of failures with Conti 5000's (God I miss the 4000's) I threw in the towel and decided on these as a replacement. I went with 24's as I run older/narrower Enve Classic 45 rims, but I think 26's would have been just fine with no lightbulb effect. They're pretty much as described; light, roll well and grip well. I've got over 600 miles on them so far and the treads still look great. I know that's not truly a long-term test, but I'm working on it. The ride quality is definitely not as comfortable as some other Vittoria race tires, or the Conti 5000's, but I'll happily trade that for some durability. I would imagine that wider versions would improve ride quality at least a little. They're not cheap, but what tire worth using is??

Thank you for your feedback.

Super easy to install!

I wanted to provide an initial review regarding installation since I felt this was important. I have Roval CLX 32 tubeless ready rims, but prefer to ride with a tube. When using Continental 4000's then Continental 5000's, they were a nightmare to install. Almost impossible to get on. Even the local bike shop could not get them on these rims without using a tire bead jack!

Last week I discovered the Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2.0 and being I had good luck with this brand in the past I thought I would give them try. Bicycle Rolling Resistance gave them a "4.5 Highly Recommended" review, so for me that was enough to buy. Great puncture resistance, excellent wet grip and they are very easy to install. I didn't even need tire levers. So now if I do get a flat, I can easily change them on the road without worrying. Just wanted to get the word out in case anyone else was looking for a good road tire that was not tight/difficult to install.

Thank you for your feedback.

No more flats!

Im happy so far! I was having too many flats with Corsa G2.0. I think New York is getting dirtier than usual. These Corsa N.EXT feel almost as fast as the G2.0 and are super easy to mount up. I accidentally tried some miles on gravel another day looking for new routes and I had no flats. Lets hope they last longer than the G2.0.
