This is my second set of Veloflex tires. I had previously worn out a set of 22mm Corsa. They are fast, smooth rolling tires. I have them set up with latex tubes. These tires are not intended for gravel roads and prone to cuts. They are more a race style tire.

These go on my race wheels. Very supple casing, these tires ride much like sewups. I do wish they came in a 25 width though. The tires are very thin, and weigh about 210g according to my scale. Given all that, I don't think I get as many flats as I would have expected. You will get more flats than if you're riding on gatorskins, that's only common sense, but Ive been impressed with their resistance, and also they are not wearing out as fast as I would have expected. If you use a lightweight tube, it makes for a fast ride. I just bought a set of Vittoria open corsa evo sc's and they look very much like the veloflex tires, although I think the veloflex looks just a little bit nicer, but I haven't ridden the vittoria's yet. I've also ridden on Conti. GP 4000s (the hot chili) and I couldn't say which is faster.
