I was sorry to see on this newest Veloflex that they have gone away from the green, white, and red stipe that was always on there tires, but still a Great tire. Thanks for your great service.

I use this tire for IRONMAN Triathlons. It tests well for rolling resistance and has good puncture resistance. Lightweight.

I use this on my disc wheel so I don't put a ton of miles on it for training - it's a race day tire. I can say that it has an excellent ride quality and a confident feel on the TT bike.
I would definitely buy another one to replace the one I have.

LIKE RIDING OVER A CLOULD BUT WILL ONLY USE FOR RACING OR SPECIAL EVENTS REAR TIRE ONLY LASTED 1000 MILES.

Great tire. To those of you who find that they don't hold air over 3 days is because of the latex tubes. You are obviously used to butyl which is inferior.
PUMP THEM DAILY. That's what you do for any great tire. Too many noobs on this page with way too much money.

Have ridden many other tires. Every tire has its &- but over all I really like these. Rolling resistance is very good, they hold great on roads even in wet conditions. Like Vittoria, but these seem to hold the air little better for 1 day race or ride.
Bought these w/tire discount so the value was great.
Absolutely no reason for me to switch!

I'm using these tires exclusively for racing. They are very supple and seem to wear very well. I do not have enough miles to comment on durability yet. This tires have latex tubes which provides for less rolling resistance, but the side effect is that the tires will lose air pressure faster than tires with rubber tubes. For whatever reason, in comparison with other tubulars like this (Schwalbe Ultremo HT) these do not seem to lose as much air overnight.

Put simply, Veloflex is the benchmark for all racing tubulars. There are more supple tires, and more durable tires. But nobody matches the balance.
To the earlier reviewers: ALL latex tubes will drop that much PSI. These are racing specific tires you need to pump up before every ride. The fact that they include latex tubes is part of the reason they are faster. If you want a tubular that will hold air forever, buy a Tufo or Conti.

These are my first set of tubulars and I'm currnetly stretching them out on the wheels (Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35) and they seem to fit nicely and have a nice feel and tread pattern. However, they are losing about 40-50 psi over the course of a few days time... both front and back the same. So, I don't think it's the extension, as I applied plumbers tape to the threads and they appear tight. I bought a second pair of the same tires and expect the PSI reduction to be the same after seeing a previous post indicating a similar problem. But, I hope the ride is worth it.... yet I'm open to other suggestions.

These tires have superb grip and ride very supple. They soak up bumps and give extreme confidence in corners due to their grip. I had 2 original tires and both dropped 40-50 psi after only 3 days. My rear tire picked up a piece of glass that made a 1/8 inch hole in it so I replaced it with my 3rd Veloflex Carbon. This too dropped 40-50 psi after only 3 days. If you don't mind pumping them up every 2-3 days these are great tires.
I replaced the set with Mavic Yksiums which only drop 5-10 psi after 7 days, and are cheaper.

Once i got a pair of veloflex any type tire, I was hooked they ride smooth and grip well, depending on your desire to roll, race, or tour long. I suggest a more durable tire, if your looking for a tire that will last for 4000 miles or more, but you wont get a better feeling tire than this.

Purchased this tire when it was on sale. It fits easily on my Zipp FC 808 and Zipp 900 Disc and appears to ride well.

Durable, very comfortable everyday tires that are wonderful to ride
Review by Scott
These are my first Tubular tires and the ride quality is amazing. I've tried many brands of clinchers and tubeless tires but nothing compares for smoothness and comfort. They seem to roll very fast and have fantastic grip on corners. I haven't ridden them in rain so I can't speak to the performance in wet conditions.

Veloxflex makes a great durable very smooth riding tire and it handles great even when pumped up to very high psi , the tread pattern is great for centering your tire on the rim , mounts easy and very supple not much stretching needed ,
