Review by Hanale
This review is based on the GXP version of the SRAM Force AXS crank arms and not the DUB version. Why GXP you ask, it's because the eBike I purchased for my wife came with a GXP crankset. I just needed to get a shorter crank arm for my wife since she's more comfortable with the 165mm length crank then the 170mm that came with her bike. The price for a full GXP crankset is about double the price I paid for these crank arms. Plus the crankset we have is brand new. Installation of these crank arms are easy. You do have to remove the crank from the bike to replace the crank arms which is time consuming. They work perfectly as expected. Why didn't I just upgrade to DUB which I could of got the whole crankset as cheap as these GXP crank arms cost me. Simple the bottom bracket on this ebike is a custom GXP BB just for this ebike that has sensors built into it to sense the crank turning to power the motor. The BB is not off the shelf. It doesn't matter you can't tell the difference which BB is being used because the SRAM crank works perfectly fine either way. I think both BB's ride perfectly fine and smooth. I own another bike with a DUB crank. I would recommend a SRAM GXP crankset if that's what you have already and didn't want to spend more money to upgrade to DUB. I've read an article that says these SRAM Force cranks look cheap, but I don't think so. It's design looks sharp and cool, but everyone has their own opinion. If you are in the market for a longer or shorter crank arm for your SRAM Force AXS crank then go for it. Bike Tires Direct was the best place to shop for many bike parts I've purchased in the past.
