This Spurcycle bell is tiny, but yet the sound is amazing. Very loud and long resonance. I bought another similar looking bell and it is no comparison to this Spurcycle bell. Highly recommend, money well spent

This is one of the best bells out there. It looks elegant, and the sound is clear, resonant, and attention-getting. It's notably better than the knock-offs of the Spurcycle that have popped up. The only ones on par in terms of volume are the large Crane bells.

The most pleasing, resonant bicycle bell that I have ever heard. Plus, it is extremely well made and aesthetically pleasing. Expensive but worth it!

While in the relatively more expensive side of bike bells, this one is near perfect - great sound. I commute on a trail and walkers seem much more receptive to the bell versus a verbal on your left. Great American made feel and heritage behind the bell. Ive put them on all of my bikes

Nicely designed bell, sound loud and attacks attention. A bit pricey.

It's crazy how loud this tiny, little bell is. I'm almost embarrassed to use this because it's that loud. I spend most my time riding on the road and find that I don't use it all that much as my hands are usually on the hoods when in traffic. When on the trail though I'm ringing this bell like there's no tomorrow to let other trail users know I'm approaching.

The bike paths are fairly crowded in the summer weekends and lots of folks use headphones. It seems 'on your left' only makes people stop and turn left. The bell is a clear signal, it's loud enough to alert most and the resonance is fantastic.

Excellent bell. Small presence in the bars. Great sound. Expensive, but worth it if you care about such things. I've had other bells, but none come close to the quality - both in build and sound.

My wife bought a Spurcycle bell when she got her new bike last year. I liked hers so much I decided to get one for myself. It can be mounted facing verticals or horizontally so it doesnt stand out on my nice road bike. Great quality and ring tone

I use this for commuting in and around D.C. The clear tone is loud and easily heard.

It's a bell with character

This bell rings true and clear. It's easy to mount and works well on bars with an oval shape. Great on a bike path or commuting, not obnoxious to pedestrians or riders you are passing. Need to be aware of brake or shift cables when mounting so that cables don't interfere with ring. I liked it enough, I bought 3.

Beautifully designed. No band clamp but an elegantly engineered mount. Pure sound with sustain. All metal construction. Costs too much but damn it's nice.

I bought this bell for my bike and fell in love with it. It has a loud and clear sound to it. My wife found it annoying at first because I looked for any opportunity to use it while riding. Couple of rides later she noticed that people were responding to the bell with its loud sound and moved out of the way. So now I bought another bell this time for her

this bell has an easy to hear tone and a long lasting ring ... that would be heard over someone wearing earphones letting them know of your presence. The appearance is of the bell is top notch and is easily attached to your bicycle but can be moved if you make changed to your handle bar.

A bell? What - on a road bike, or gravel bike? Yeah ) This thing is just cool. It is tiny - the bell diameter is on the order of the diameter of a quarter. The workmanship is awesome and the black finish is super cool. I do not have the silver one.

I often use the local bike trails to connect portions of my road riding and I ride in urban settings quite often. This bell is loud and has a sustained ring. No more on your left needed - just flick the bell and they know you are coming. I had it on one bike and liked it so much I bought a second one for another bike.

The attachment is solid and well done. Essentially you pick one of two metal straps - depending on the size of the bar you are attaching to, then you hook the ends of the strap into the bell and tighten the Allen screw at the top of the bell. That is it.

Since it is small, it does not take up much bar space, and it is easy to ring with gloved hands.

The Spurcycle Better Bell (black) is compact, discrete and has a nice initial ring and good harmonics when it decays. A classy and well made bell. You can control the loudness by not allowing a full hit when you pull back the spring loaded hammer.

The bell has a pleasing long ring. It is also small, and doesn't take up a lot of valued handlebar space.
