8 miles into the first ride on these tubes I had a flat. When I took the tube out it had split at the seam. Failure was not due to puncture. I'd bought a second one so I put the 2nd one in and have been riding on that one. 150 miles in on the second one with no issues.

I've used these for years on my mtb. Work great, I've had two flats with these, not enough air/time to self seal and the slime makes a patch not feasible. They are also pretty heavy compared to normal tires. The green valve caps are cool though

I did not have any problem installing and using, they seem to be considerably strong and may resist some puncture from rust, I like them.

I use the slime tubes on my mountain bike and they work great. I decided to buy these for my road bike for training to minimize the possibility of a tube swap during a ride. These tubes do hold up and will typically allow you to finish a ride before the leak forces a tube swap. I did get a pinched tube with one of these and it did not stop the leak, so for that reason I gave 4 stars.

It's easy, the slime is already in the tube. This is absolutely great if you ride in a place with goat head stickers, you can usually pull them out and keep riding I put them on my wife's bike as she doesn't take a pump or know how to fix a flat yet.

Probably nothing wrong with the tubes and maybe I didn't study the instructions close enough; BUT, when I used the air pressure gage on it goop came out through the valve and clogged up my gage. (My tubes were Schrader valves) Gave them to a friend who didn't care since he just thumps his tires when checking pressure. If I become a thumper I would try them again, but otherwise I'll stay with non goop tubes.

These tubes are great. We live in an area where there are tons of thorns. I did nothing but patch tires. Haven't had to do one repair since putting these on.

I think as time goes on the gooo inside does not move around as it should also If you get two punctures at once forget it they can not handle it. I like them, they do give me a bit more confidence when riding on the crappy roads around here.
Small stuff no problem anything like a piece of wire from a car tire forget it.
Also the valves get frozen up if you have not ridden for a while.

both 26 inch tubes are bad out of the box the first one leaked around the valve the second one blew up when inflated to 40 pounds complete waste of time and money.

I have used these tubes n y training bike, after having a three plate episode a few years back I decided I never wanted to walk 8 miles down hill in my cleats again! So I have been using slime tubes and they work great I never worry about running over stuff unless it is big stuff then I get worried.
I had one instance where a wire went through both sides of the tire and tube a very long wire and sharp.
Recently I had to replace a tube because the valve stem got stuck open but I had that tube on there for years, no complaints.

First of all, I'm completely comfortable changing tubes and tires along side the road. No issues for me to complete the task in 10 minutes or less. I just don't always leave myself enough time. Here is the problem, my commute involves a train and a 10 mile bike ride. I don't always leave myself enough time and if the wind is blowing the wrong direction, and I get a flat, I miss the train and I'm in for a much longer bike ride. The extra rotating mass from the slime isn't ideal, but it provides a little extra insurance if that glass or goat head decides to catch a ride in my tire. Its just good insurance and if I burn a few extra calories, all the better

I haven't put many miles on the new tubes but wanted to try the slime tubes in case I pick up a thorn.
