This is a very solid, high-quality wheelset at a terrific price. I sense excellent lateral stiffness. Hubs roll smoothly, with a very quiet rear when freewheeling. I like the low-key graphics. I'm using this set for everyday training. Yes, a bit heavy, but the switch to my lighter wheels for events will be a treat.

Craftsmanship. This is what I see with these wheels. Yes, theyre manufactured and not custom rims, but the attention to detail is evident. From the immaculate packaging to the superb braking surfaces, these wheels say, Quality! Despite the reasonable price, these are definitely not entry level wheels. Out of the box, the bearings were perfectly adjusted. Braking was amazing compared to my old rims. The main thing I noticed was the power transmission to the rear wheel, especially in climbing. Granted, my old rear hub was worn, but I never realized how much flex there was until I mounted these new wheels. My Ultegra 10-speed cluster installed without a problem. These Shimanos are the perfect training commute wheels. Bike Tires Direct service was as usual excellent.

Great Wheelset especially for the price. Needed on my Commuter Bike my old 06 Fuji Team with major miles on it and rides better than when I first bought bike in 07. Also has majorly improved Speed and ride comfort over long distances. Also BikeTiresDirect.com did awesome job with delivery came sooner than expected.

This wheelset is not the most expensive but rather the opposite. I use them as every day wheels-they are durable and fast. Great training wheels and light enough to weekend race with. I put eleven speed groupset on and really enjoy them with out floating a stock issue to pay for them. Thankyou

I got these wheels for an 'older' Trek 2120 bike that I've ridden over 60,000 miles. What an improvement! They are so light and smooth-rolling I feel like I'm on a new bike. The bladed spokes slice through the air for less drag and the reduced spoke count makes cross winds less of a nuisance. I am very happy with these wheels and would recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade their bike.
