You never hear any complaints about Ultegra pedals. How can you possibly go wrong? Nothing weird, nothing but pedals you put your feet on and they work.

I used to ride Dura Ace components, but Ultegra is so good now that when my old components wore out, I bought all Ultegra components. Like everything Shimano --- they just work.

Seemingly flawless in their design, build quality and performance these pedals will handle years of abuse and look good doing it.

These are really a solid product. The finish of the ultegra level is great. These pedals have so much adjustment in the cleat that it can accommodate nearly and position. I have the 5mm linger shaft version, which is perfect for a size 13 foot.

This is the pedal. Light, solid cleat, looks good. You don't want anything less and you don't need anything more.

Easy to clip in and out. I could also ride with normal sneakers at times.

I purchased these after I had bought the dura-ace version. These feel exactly the same. Small weight penalty but huge $ savings.

Great deal on some of the best road pedals I have used. I switched from Looks and feel like these are much studier pedals and cleats.

I love these pedals. I used to ride exclusively Look KEO on my road bikes, but after several pairs failed at the axle-pedal interface, I decided to switch to Shimano. They are sturdy with a great cleat platform. Now ride them on multiple bikes.

Tried and true Shimano Ultegra pedals. I have 6800 groupset, but these look great with it. Basically was the final piece(es) to my now murdered out bike!!

Great Pedals, nice clip action, easy release. Love the tension adjustment, and it is easy to adjust. Ultegra...what else do you need to know?

We got an amazing deal at BikeTiresDirect for these great looking, excellent quality pedals. The Shimano Ultegra line of components is an excellent choice for those that don't want to spend the money on the top of the line Dura Ace but demand quality. The functionality is as good but just a slight bit heavier in most cases.

As light and as technical as their Dura Ace offering from a couple of years ago, Shimano's R8000 pedals are strong, light, and reliable. Adjustable release tension is a must-have. Metal wear surfaces will ensure these last a good long while. Are the new Dura Ace pedals worth the extra money? Not to me, but you have the budget go for it. I'm sticking with Ultegra.

Got this on sale and it worth every penny. With only three contacts points on a bike, having a high quality high performing bike pedal is essential. The lighter weight and improved wider platform allows easy spinning and great power transfer through the pedals. If these are on sale definitely buy them.

I like everything about this pedal except its tightness. Pros lightweight, smooth rotation, large platform, excellent energy transfer. Cons It is very difficult to kick out of these pedals. This may be more of an issue with new cleats. I have the pedals on the lightest setting and repeatedly work on clicking in and out. However, I really need to concentrate on a technique that works and plan ahead when I'm going to kick out, because of the stiffness. I've ridden about 300 miles on these pedals and the yellow SPD-SL cleats to date. I've lubed the contact areas on the pedals and pivot point, and have even worked the pivot action thousands of times using soft jawed vice grips. My next option is to try blue cleats because they have less rotation, to see if that helps with kick out. The most consistent kick out technique I have found is to firmly press the front of the cleat forward against the front of the pedal clasp prior to rotating the heal outward.
