I got these gloves after my PI waterproof gloves totally failed on a miserable wet 45 degree March ride. I've had them for nearly a year now and put them to the test. Recently wore them on a 45 degree ride in a drizzle and also in a 35 degree ride with no rain but some road spray. Over 60 miles and I stayed dry. You have to be careful to tuck the cuffs under your rain shell which can be hard with stops and starts. On the 35 degree day, my hands got progressively colder over the first two hours... but then after a break when re-warmed them and it had warmed up a few degrees and I was fine for the rest of the ride. I also took them cross country skiing and they kept me warm and dry day one covering 10 miles in snow and sleet in 30-35 degrees, and also on a dry day covering 10 miles in 10-25 degrees. I also wore these on a brevet where I rode 250 miles, most of it in a steady rain, and they only kept me dry for the first four hours or so before water seeped in either down my arms or through the seams... but they kept me warm despite getting wet.
So... unless you're biking sub-32 degrees or in the rain for more than 8 hours, these gloves stand up to the test. I'm very happy with them.
