I just started using tubeless tires. Talk about a compliant and more maneuverable ride. I won't go back to those pesky inner tubes.

Road tubeless tires aren't cheap. These are reasonable with BTD's usual sale price in the low $60 range. They're light and they roll exceptionally well. I've been doing road tubeless since it became available and have used every Hutchinson road tubeless tire made. They're decent but I totally prefer these Schwalbes to any other road tubeless that I've used.
I run with about 2 oz of Stans in each tire and have put about 1400 miles on this set. We have a lot of rough pavement, glass and debris on many of the roads where I live, and so far, no major cuts or flats with reasonably careful riding and using a glove to brush the tires if I run through something suspect. I run them with 80 psi front and rear (I weigh about 160). The reduced pressure doesn't seem to make them roll any slower and they feel super plush.
I opted for the 700 x 25c size, and they're pretty fat. So fat, they just clear my fork and stays on a Cervelo R3. But the ride and the grip are outstanding, these things just roll as smooth as butter. The rear has started to wear a flat spot in the middle but it's not yet an issue. If I don't cut them, I can probably get 2000 miles on the rear before I'd think about changing it out. I love the extra volume of the 25c but because of the tight clearance on my frame and fork, I may go with the 23's next time.

This is only the second time I have purchased Schwalbe tires, and I have had the exact same experience both times. I had about 200 miles on this tire, and ended up taking a gash to the sidewall that the sealant could not plug. I ended up having to walk the bike 3 miles back to my car. I had a similar issue with a Schwalbe tire 3 years ago, but the price was right on this tire, so I thought I would try again. Big mistake as 200 miles on a tire is pathetic. Back to the old trusty Conti tires for me....

This is a good tire, rolls great with solid cornering grip, I never hesitate to barrel into a corner leaning because Im confident that these tires stay planted.
Bike Tires Direct has good prices, so I shop here.

I have these and a set of 28's. I run tubeless and these seem to hold air pretty well. I like the lack of rolling resistance, a very fast tire, something I cannot say about a few others I have. For a roadgravel tire the tread seems a bit thin. I punctured one of the 25's just riding on gravel (sharp stones), but the tire didn't blow up, or come off the rim. I put a tube in it and rode back, no problem. I was able to repair the tire by using a Michelin tubeless patch on the tire. It works just fine and have not had any problem since. I was thinking today about getting some 32's for my gravel bike, but already have too many tires for that one.

I really like these tires. I have them set up tubeless in 30mm, 28mm and 25mm on a 21mm internal width rim. They tend to be pudgy and they really are a size bigger than marked when on the rim. The 30mm measures about 31-32mm wide and about 29mm high. The 28mm is 30mm wide and measures about 27mm high. The 25mm is 28mm wide and 26mm high. Some of that change with pressure, but they tend to run large.
All that said, they ride super smoothly and they seem like they are super round. I know that's a strange thing to say, but they just cruise. Noticeably better rolling resistance than some others I've tried. Do note that when I put tubes in them they tend to feel truck-like. These are tires that are designed to run tubeless.
They are sensitive to tire inflation. Most riders will want to over inflate these. I run the 25's at about 66psi in the front and at 79psi in the back. I'm a big guy too and I'd suspect that many will want to run these right up at the max pressure. That is a big mistake - the speed in these tires comes from their absorption of ride imperfections and their suppleness and design not from having them rock hard in old school fashion.
Great tire. I like them a lot.

Please take note this review is for the CLINCHER tire and not the Tubeless.
Durability of this tire has been the absolutely worst tire I have bought in my 15 years of riding. I've rode this new tire set on 4 rides and I have had 4 flats - 2 on the front and 2 on the back. The rides have been on clean roads for the most part. I am not running high pressure on these tires - approximately 80 psi.
Ride comfort is there for sure - almost a little soft in my opinion but that's subjective to the rider.
Maybe I got a defective pair but this tire has been nothing but disappointment for me.

I bought these in 28 mm to compare with the Hutchinson Sector (see my review there).
There a few major differences the Schwalbe Pro One goes on the rim very tough and only with a few tricks (Enve 3.4 SES, put in a tube to seat one side, take tube out then fully seat with a blow of air). They seal better than the Sector right off the bat.
My major issue with the Schwalbe Pro One is the longevity I had the Sector on for 7000 km and the Schwalbe is worn at not even 3500 km!!!
Grip on damp roads seems to be better with the Schwalbe, though.
Will go back to the Hutchinson.

After using other brands, I bought this one try based on a recommendation from another manufacturer whose tires were out of stock. WOW! I have never had to use a tube. I am on my third pair and I get about 2000 miles out of them and don't even know I had a flat until I get home because they seal up quickly. The only thing that has killed them is a sidewall slice. For the money - way better than the other manufacturer's tire.

These tires feel amazing. They roll fast, are pretty light, and handle well on corners. With that being said, get one puncture, and deal with it for the life of the tire. it will close up for a ride, then when you pump up the tires for the next ride, about 3 miles into the ride you hear and see sealant spray all over the place. After the pressure is lost, they're good to go....until you pump up again. They just can't seem to take a puncture and close up. It makes you want to go back to inner tubes. Ill be going back to Maxxis padrones or Hutchinsons.

These are the fastest and smoothest tire out there. I like the Specialized Turbo cottons but they are now my second best. The tubeless tires take a little getting used to but when you learn how to fill the tire you need to have the the right chuck. Then it all works well. It's nice to ride with 10's less air, it makes the ride so much smoother. If you do get a whole it seals then you just need to add air.

This tire is a little bit pricey compared to others, even Schwalbe lines, but they have a great combination of puncture resistance, low rolling resistance and are tubeless. They feel like they want to run. When punctured, they lose about 6 pounds of pressure, but I dont even stop. I get about 800-1,000 Miles per set and usually change them before they get too flat topped.

I find these are the best all-around performing tubeless road tires. The ride nice, are quiet and have great traction dry or wet. They wear like a race tire so don't expect a ton of miles out of them. I have had punctures with these tires, and use sealer, so small punctures are not a problem. As the tires wear and get thinner, they are more prone to puncture.

Never thought Id find a tire this good. I had my doubts when Bob sold me the wheel set and I had to learn this new way of addressing my tires. Thanks to the Schwalbe Pro One, Ive had no issues with flats. These tires are GREAT. They also feel smooth on the road. I feel faster as a rider and second, I feel safe knowing these tires are going to keep me off the side of the road saying yeah, Im ok as other riders ride by

I use the 28mm tire on my Roubaix S-Works. Very fast rolling and great for the occasional dirt road foray. I've lost one tire to glass in the road I didn't see, but other than that I can't think of a better solution for a road rider with the usual lousy roads we encounter in CT.

When I put these tires on, my first tubeless. I loved the ride and the way they grabbed the road. I put them on a couple hundred miles before beginning a 545 mile trek from northern to Southern California. By day 5 of the 7 day journey, I got a puncture that the sealant couldn't handle. I added a tube which lasted a day and when I changed the next one found the tire to be pretty thin. Maybe 700 miles. Put a patch on the inside of the puncture this time and rode the tire the rest of the way. Probably wouldn't buy again, too much money per mile. I do think it a great performance tire though.

What a great tire! Hoping BTD will have the 28's in inventory soon!

My plan was to convert to 28mm tubeless on Easton EC90SL rims (which are not official tubeless wheels) for a better ride and to finally get rid of flats. Tires mount easily - just tight enough to seem secure, but not so tight as to break tire irons. 90 PSI max is far lower than I'm accustomed to but the goal was a better ride on terrible california roads
However, absolutely NO amount of tries allowed me to run tubeless and this is someone who has installed a minimum of 30 mountain wheels on various tire and rim vendors. It took 2 people to work the tire enough to get a seal to inflate at all but then 30grams of Stans sealant didn't help complete the process. There is no pop as the tire fills and it takes about 1-6 hours to deflate in which the tire then unseats completely. One thing I noticed is that the rubber is very slick and sealant doesn't really dry to it even after a week like it does for Schwable mountain tires.
Since the EC90s aren't officially supported I was fully prepared for failure and so can't blame the tires, but for anyone coming from the absolutely wonderful world of tubeless mountain biking, the road experience may not be the same

I'm a big fan of Schwalbe tubeless road tires and have had many pairs. This latest iteration is noticeably lighter. I can't tell yet if they wear differently yet-they seem to wear a bit faster but I could be wrong about that. They are great in terms of grip and rolling resistance. But they are super hard to mount. It might the wheeltire combo, but I've mounted many tubeless tires and you have to be patient and perseverant. I had to install with tubes and then use every trick I know (lots of soapy water, a good compressor, etc.). Essentially it feels like a different bead that doesn't want to stay seated.

I ride 120 miles per week on pavemrnt. I've not had a puncture problem in more than 6 months. Both tires still look like new. They are not difficult to mount. Overall I'm very happy with this tire.
