I use the Nobby Nics on a full suspension XC/Trail oriented rig in all seasons and have found them to be excellent. My preference is to ride to the trailhead, and these provide good rolling ability on the roads. They're not slicks, obviously, but they are efficient enough. And on the trails they provide excellent traction. I ride a mix of single track and fire roads primarily in Marin County. From mud to dry and dusty, they have performed very well. I have gotten good miles from these and am especially pleased with how well they hold air between rides. The tubeless performance has been the best I've experienced. Schwalbes in general and these specifically are not inexpensive tires, but they are worth it in terms of their value. And Bike Tires Direct had the best price and always outstanding service.

The Nobby Nic is good when its brand new. The tread can be still tall, but when the nobs loose the sharp edge the grip goes way down. I switched over to Maxxis Rekons and the grip and rolling resistance are far superior. I ride in Southern California and ride on mostly dry, hard or loose conditions.

The Nobby Nic is the best front tire I have ever had in about 30 years of mtn biking. I was having a hard time hanging with buddies and noticed they both had this tire. After installing it was like being on a freshly tuned snow skis in icy conditions. This tire hold air much better than any other tubeless I have ever owned. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Used for approx 150 miles as rear tire and has held up well so far. No major issues or complaints, basically does what I expect a tire to do. Would recommend and consider buying again in the future.

Expensive, even on sale, but I like the weight to traction ratio. This is my second set of Nic's. The first lasted a full season of PNW riding, then the rear started seeping sealant at the rims and from elsewhere across the tire. I was intentionally running them below the min recommended pressure through the winter, so it's likely my own fault. If these have the same issue, I'll likely move the heavier maxxis.

Easy mounting tubless. Less watts to push, good lugs for traction & casing protection. Wear good lugs don't tear off easily on rocks. Have 5 bikes only tires I run.

Tubeless ready mounted on 29 full suspension mountain bike. Extremely low rolling resistance with all weather traction.

Never witnessed this before but the inner casing and outer casing are peeling apart after only a few rides. Rear wheel was feeling a bit sketch on this descent the other evening and when I got back to the car and looked at my rear tire it had a huge warp in it and these strange small bubbles along the walls of the tire! Thought at first was that I had bent my rim, not the case. Peeled the tire off the rim and noticed these big air bubbles on the inside. The inner and outer casings are peeling apart... full tire failure! Never have I seen this before in all of my 30yrs of mtb riding. Tire is not like my last Nobby either it looks like cheaper rubber or something strange... buyer be warned.

Great tubeless, high grip tires. Good for muddy and wet conditions and other soft conditions. Really aggressive cornering lugs are awesome and the rubber compound is super soft. Installed super easy as both tubeless and tubed. Great aggro tire!
