Best tires I've ever had for my REI Novara touring bicycle!

Best touring tire made!! Best price from bike tire direct! The world may be flat, but my tires ain't.... no flats 4000 later....

Had these on my bike for about a month now and no flats. I'm commuting 15 miles a day and feel confident about not getting flats. The only negative is they are very hard to get on the rim. Sore fingers and forearms after getting that done.

Being a roadie in Colorado with rough roads, I knew I needed a more substantial tire over the 700cx23 tires that I had used in California. I got these in 700cx25, which was the biggest I could go, without rubbing against the brakes. I have to keep them a little under 100Lbs. pressure or it makes for a ride that hurts my arms, but that seems to work just fine. I like the tread on them, as riding in the rain should be stable with good traction. A bit pricey, but I have heard that Schwalbe is a higher priced tire. I think that all in all, it's a good tire for the price. I have not ridden enough on these tires yet, to give a solid revue, but I am confident that they will hold up to their reputation.

These tiers are great for different types of roads services. I'll stick with these tiers from now on.

Tires arrived on time and the order was correct. Cheaper than bike shop. Very pleased

I like the reflective bit on the sidewall, I wish my MTB tires had the same feature. You'll want some good sturdy tire levers to get these on/off, I broke my cheap ones trying to seat these.

Per recommendations I read by bike tourers online, shortly after buying my touring bike I swapped out the rear tire in favor of this Schwabe Marathon. I left the original front tire on for the moment.
Since, I've had ongoing problems with the front tire a series of flats due to thorns on my first tour ride that forced me to change tubes & very carefully inspect the tire multiple times before that was resolved. Since, the front tire looses air pressure over several days tho I cannot find any leak in the tube.
In contrast to all that hassle, my Schwabe rear tire has had NO issues whatsoever. It survived the thorns unscathed, and tire pressure remains stable. They are indeed highly reliable as promised.
If I were to go touring, I would put a Schwabe on both wheels. For now, just trying to wear out the front over time.

Although a bit tough to get on, these tires are really pretty great. Tread pattern is super quiet and as a 250lb rider, inflation to 80psi rides pretty well per the inflation directions.

this bike tire is the next best thing to a run-flat. It does require pushing a little harder on the pedal due to the extra weight, but it's well worth it for the dependability. It's quality craftsmanship and has lasted several years on my bike (daily commuter).

I think they're best tires out there. Great handling, performance and zero flats... veen riding them forever and bike tires directs prices are awesome. I have more tires ar my house than most shops have in stock. I have 3 bikes here..just buy them, and get out and ride, till you run out of road...

A fellow cyclist recommended these tires. This is my first set of Schwalbes and Im very impressed so far. They are mounted on a Specialized Roubiax. The reflective sidewall is an added bonus.

I'm on my 2nd version of this tire, the first lasted me 5 years bike commuting in Chicago year-round, zero flats. I've biked through glass, pot holes, snow, rain, etc, no issues.

Had been annoyed by many flats in one ride, due to a good raining season which helped plants and trees grown profusely then thorns and thistles are scattered the trail as the result. Bringing extra tubes to minimize down time won't be enough, as getting flats twice in one ride on one bike, multiply that to six members of the group.
Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700c really live up to its name. Although a bit heavier, there is no match for flat protection. I had replaced all tires for family 3 hybrid bikes, in 3 different sizes (700-283235) and flat no more after many months riding. The sale from BTD helps to save some bucks, so very happy making the change. To sum it up from annoy to enjoy riding bicycles!!!

A good, strong tire that is great for training and peddling through all weather. Easy to install.

This tire offers great punctue protection but at the cost of high weight per tire. Bought for a cannondale caadx. I found my bike time was not increasing so i pulled the continentals off my old bike. I do like the tires but to heavy for my needs. Ride mostly on streets and paved rail trails. Tire would be great for someone that commutes with there bike.

Crazy think and heavy. Definitely for folks that don't like to change a flat in the rain. They do what there supposed too.

Very durable and smooth ride, but very difficult to get on the rims. Recently rode 400 miles thru the Adirondacks with full gear and no flats or any problems.

A good, heavier tire for training and getting around town through different road surfaces.

After 5000 miles or so I'll run them at 10psi less than max to help prevent the side walls from tearing. I've run the 35 and 42 width. I could get about 8k-9k miles out of the tires on a loaded touring bike.
