I have tried many brands of tires over the years. I finally tried these tires. The flat rate is almost zero for the life of the tire. I have tubes fail on seam lines or at the valves before these tires finally give up. They roll very well for their weight. I run 700c x 35mm, 700c x 40mm and 27" x 1 1/4" tires. I use these bikes for pavement, gravel roads, hard packed dirt trails. They are very durable. I weigh 250lbs and I do not have issues with tread separation, or sidewall failures. My rear tires tend to fail where the bead and rim meet every two years or so. Fronts last much longer. These are wonderful tires because they keep you on the road for more bicycling and less bicycle repair. Highly recommended.

The Schwalbe Marathon GT Tour 700c tire is absolutely the best tire I've ever owned for my 1993 Schwinn Criss-Cross with tens of thousands of miles. I can't say enough how great this tire is (my size is 700x35) for low rolling resistance, puncture resistance and cornering traction on the crushed limestone on the Illinois Prairie Path. It is absolutely worth the price and is also a great value considering its performance. What I also like about its tread pattern is that the tire produces so much less kicked up limestone dust from the Illinois Prairie Path than any other tire I've owned or seen on the trail except slicks and the engineered tread does not pick up and throw little pieces of limestone up into my helmet that other tires did. Just as the Schwalbe website said, the cornering traction of this tire is very good with a smooth, low rolling resistance tread and a great cornering tread biting edges. This tire earns an A+ for performance and A+ for value!
