This is the best all around tire I have found for daily rides-not racing. And I have been riding for over thirty years. No flats yet!

I switched to a road bike from a hybrid. The first week I got two flats so I upgraded to the Schwalbe with the . I smartguard. I used the Schwalbe Marathon Plus on my hybrid and never had a flat. So far several 50 mile rides and no flats.

I have had this for about 4-5 months, and I have yet to have a flat tire yet, when I was using conti gatorskins I would be getting flat tires all the time, these are great tires for training or racing, they work fine!! The puncture protection on these tires are awesome, not even one flat yet, they have me sold!!

I bought these tires last summer after having flat after flat on the tires that came with my road bike. I have rode on these tires (25's) being as heavy as 300 lbs with no trouble at all! Im know down to around 250 and Im actually afraid to ever go to another tire because these have been so dependable. I ride on some pretty terrible roads up here to.

I'm beyond racing any more, but I like responsive tires on my bikes. The Schwalbe Durano Plus tire in a 700X25 fills the bill for our Calfee tandem. We get good life and good puncture resistance to go with the performance. I also use these tires on single bikes. Using about 90 lbs pressure gives both good ride and good precision steering. All around dependable tire.

It's a tank of a tire, I have went out of my way to test it, have ran over everything in sight no flats goatheads, glass, staples they just keep going. I you're sick of flats get these.

I've used the Schwalbe tires for commuting for 4 years with great results and love the Durano for an all-season training tire. It's light enough to race if you're riding a roubaix or questionable pavement but really shines for how long they hold up to training miles.

Use this tire on. Oth road bikes. A bit heavier than other tires but they are almost flat proof. Can usually get at least 2500 miles before replAcing them and I ride at least 3500 miles a year and can't remember my last flat. By when they Are on sale and with free shipping Nd they are a great value

Got tired of getting flats on my road bike every couple of weeks. Was riding Michelin Krylions and would get flats from small thorns or tiny pieces of glass on a fairly regular basis. Had Schwalbe Marathons on my touring bike with one flat in 8500 miles on two sets of tires so decide to try the Durano Plus 700x23 on my road bike. 2500 miles later I have not had another flat riding the same routes. The tires are a bit heavy so are not made for racing but they are bullet proof. When they wear out I will get another pair.

I have been riding daily since I retired in 95. I have gone thru Continental Gatorskins, Vredestein Fortezza Tri Comps, and about 5 yrs ago switched to the Durano Plus tire. I wanted to get more mileage out of a set. I average over 1K per month so I run thru tires quickly. My first set was used on my trip across the U.S. in 07 from Oregon to New Hampshire and the only trouble I had was a sliced tire. I constantly get 4-5 K per tire. I rotate from front to rear with a new one on front.

I am not a small mountain climber and like durable training tires. This tire has ridden with me through all kinds of rough stuff downed branch pieces after a storm, glass from an auto accident, 103 degree days of riding and it has handled it all with ease.

I got this tire specifically to use for Time Trials and Triathlons.
I wanted something with a high psi, and the 145 psi of the tire fit the bill.
I have heard good things about the durability of Schwalbe tires.
Used it for about 100 miles so far and have been pleased with the resutls.

I ride 3000 milesyear, mostly on my road bike. I just suffered my first flat tire yesterday after 7000 carefree miles. The next tires on my road bike will also be Durano Plus.

Even with 110 lbs of air this tire still feels very sluggish. For the price, I think I can find something better next winter for a set of training tires.

Low friction and excellent durability. Ride is comfortable and puncture resistant. Over three thousand miles and only 50percent wear.

I rode my carbon-framed racing bike to work most days of the week once the rain was mostly gone over the last 2 years (riding my beater commuter bike during the deep winter). I knew I needed serious flat protection since my commute took me through the marine industrial area of south Seattle into downtown on some of the crummiest, roughest, broken up streets in the city.
I did get one flat in about 1500 miles, a thin wire through the sidewall. But at great as that was, what blew me away was the feel of these tires. These are thick, heavy tires (I race on 200gm clinchers, these are 380gms on the 700x25's I use). I just expected them to feel like riding on marshmallows.
Instead, they rode and handled like decent higher-end clinchers. AND - these tires totally smoothed out those rough streets in a way I never could have imagined was possible. These are great tires for commuting if you ride a real bike.
