I have been riding with Schwalbe Marathon Supreme and Marathon Supreme Plus size 700x32c on my two touring bikes ever since circa 2008. I have put over 25,000 miles on those tires in the past 12 years and have had only 3 flats. All of the flats were under extreme conditions of road debris - horseshoe pads w nails, muffler parts, etc.).

On my 3 road bikes, I had been riding Michelin Krylion and then Michelin Pro4 Endurance for many years in North Carolina. I got perhaps 2-3 flats per 5,000 miles of riding per year.

I moved to the Washington DC area in 2015 and have been wanting to convert one of my older, lighter, and faster road bikes (a Colnago MasterX w lugged steel) into a city bike since I now do more urban cycling. I bought a pair of Schwalbe Durano Plus road tires 700x23c for the Colnago and have been rocking the nasty streets of DC like a wildman for the past couple of months.

These tires are amazing in terms of resilience and wear and I feel like the performance difference is trivial if there is any at all. In fact, while the tire may be a few grams heavier, the harder casing and extra pressure I can put into these Durano Plus tires makes the bike actually seem faster.

I am now going to convert both of my other road bikes to Schwalbe Durano Plus even if they never see the streets of Washington DC.

(FYI, I had Schwalbe Durano on a Bike Friday 20 and currently on a Brompton 16. I've never had a flat on either bike. But then, they don't get ridden as far.)

I use these tires on my single speed commuter I ride everyday. They easily have over 3,000 miles on them and I have suffered one flat. The SmartGuard adds some additional weight, but is well worth it's super flat protection. I regularly ride on dirt, gravel, off curbs, and make no move to get out of the way of road debris. I ride in Portland and ride in a fair amount of rain and find no difference in the traction when it's wet. Excellent tires.

I have used 2 sets of these tires over 3 years,15000 kms and I am still riding on the second set. Only 2 flats. Excellent wear durability for sure and probably excellent puncture resistance. 80-90% of my kms are on rural roads that have minimal debris compared to city roads therefore puncture resistance not fully tested. The 2 flats noted were received riding through a small town with a lot of crap lying around railway tracks.

A recent move to Santa Fe where our road is dirt and gravel for nearly a mile, I had problems with my normal Continental road tires in a 25mm. Pinch flats, sharp gravel flats, etc. I had to truck my bike to the asphalt road to enjoy my Cannondale Supersix EVO. Finally opted for Schwalbe 28's in the Durano and man, what a difference. My road bike is now enjoyable on the gravel and while a bit slower on asphalt, it's a worthwhile tradeoff. I've used Schwalbe Marathon Plus on my Surly Long Haul Trucker with 0 flats so I have high hopes for the Duranos.

This tire combines durability with excellent traction. I've had no issues with this tire, other than it is very hard to install it over the rim. I've ridden on it for several hundred miles on fairly rough paved roads without any issues. I hate having flats on my rides (who doesn't?) and I plan to stick with this product for the foreseeable future. I had been a loyal Continental guy for > 20 years, but after several recent flats I made the leap to Schwalbe.

Yes.. a bit expensive... but these tires are my go to's for years. I ride in and around NYC and got tired of punctures. I tried the Schwalbe Pro Ones tubeless for a year but all I'd ever hear was phsssttttt phssttttt phsssttt. Lots of punctures and cuts because the rubber is much thinner than Durano's. Yes the tubeless sealed most punctures on the fly as well as being light and fast..... but the bigger cuts were annoying. Using plugs was a pain. I would try them again but not in the city.

Switched to Duranos and have been using them for 4 years now. Rarely if ever puncture and typically only after I've worn the tire very thin (I can count on 1 hand how many punctures I've had over the past 4 years... riding between 3 and 4000+ miles/yr.)

Rolling resistance on these is excellent. I typically roll by guys downhill on $10k bikes with Conti's on a regular basis.... and I'm not a big heavy rider. Always wondered why until I realized the tires have excellent rolling resistance. Ok so Conti's are good tires as well but I've always had more flats with the Gatorskins than Durano's.... and... the Gators are way more expensive! Just my opinion though.

I installed these tires and ride on good and bad roads alike. There are a few places where the roads are torn up around a local bayou and I go over them without a worry. My priority was flat resistance, however, I have found these tires to roll and corner better than I had hoped. I did one duathlon in a rural are and the tire performed well.

I inflate to 100psi and run the 700x25's.

El mejor I believe translates to the 'the best'. I've tried all the major brands over the last decade but none match the combination of durability and ride quality. They handle well wet and corner well at the limits of my ability. I've never had a flat. I've dug out some glass and had some cuts but nothing has gotten thru the 'smart guard'. I cut one in half after I wore it out, the smart guard is a great layer in the road contact area, the side walls are thick but still flex well. FYI, I'm 90 Kg and use the 25's on my carbon bike. I also have 3 other bikes with tires from 700-28 to my 29er, I've got Schwalbes on all of them.

Seems to grip well. No flats since I put them on 10 months ago. Probably have 2-3 K miles on them.

I commute a few times a week and ride through areas of rough road and debris. I need a tire with good flat prevention and longevity. I had heard good things about Schwalbe and I am glad I tried them. They ride smoother than I expected and tract very well even in cornering. These are tough tires. I like them better than the Michelin Krylion. Much better!

I had a flat on my second ride. I have had 3 more flats since then (in just a couple of months) I've been riding for many years and have never had so many flats, they just do not seem to hold up on the Nevada roads. I expected better durability. The also fit very tight and are hard to manage when I have needed to change the flats. Rather disappointed overall.

I bought this tire in a 25 to race the Battenkill road race in upstate New York this year, which features 65 miles on a mix of mediocre pavement and terrible dirt, and this tire road like a dream, cornering confidently on wet pavement at fifty miles an hour and descending dirt at forty without fear of flats or slip-outs. I won't ride them again until I'm racing again on dirt or cobbles, but these tires are worth every penny and every extra gram.

I bought these tires to replace some 25c Gatorskins and haven't found any problems with them thus far. I ride in the rain and these are my winter tires. The performance is fine and the ride smooth enough to do club rides or long solo rides

I have the first set of schwalbe durano plus road tires and I have 3200 miles on my front tire and I had one flat on it,it was a large piece of glass.i have about 1200 miles on my rear tire and have had one flat on it.i am a large rider I am 215 lbs.and I ride 10,000 a year and ride on a lot of bad roads and bad weather with gravel and glass nails you name it!i think they are great tires and I just received a new set so when the first set wears out I have a new set!

Durable, smooth, and relatively puncture resistant

I ride 1000 mi/month. Commuting and randoneuring. These are my go-to tires. I use 700-28s on my brevet bike and 25s on my carbon commuter. I've never flatted. I wear these out first. I'm 200s and get 3500-4000 miles out of a set. They are the best I've found for this application. I use lighter, more grippy tires on my 'speedster'.

Good tires so far (only have a few hundred miles on them). They're a little thinner than the last 25s I had on the bike. They have a small amount of tread on the sides which is also good in the winter. I actually use Mr. Tuffy liners on my tires too because I hate getting flats. No flats so far. Even though I like these, I'll probably go back to Michelin tires after they're done only because I like a slightly softer tire.

difficult to mount on Mavic700 c rims. 2 flats within first 300 miles of use. bad luck or over-rated puncture resistance?

Durable training ride tires. Glass and goat head stickers are the main culprit. The group is not waiting on me, to repair flats!

I might switch to lower rolling resistance tires for events.

I've heard good things about Schwalbe Durano Plus Tire so I decided give them a try, they were on sale at a decent price which was even better. I ride in the Desert where's a lot of thrones and glass. These tires have held

up great one flat in 3,500 miles. I've recommended them to friends now we're all riding the same tires.
