Review by Midwest Traveler
I purchased this frameset as a means to travel and be able to ride my own machine without the hassle of a huge box or awkward travel arrangements. I have not traveled with it yet, but I've ridden this almost daily since I've built it up a few weeks ago. I've put on approximately 700 miles on it including 3 century rides. I built it up with a Chorus groupset and a Campagnolo Zonda wheelset. With this build It weighs approximately 17lbs and is super stiff. If you go with Zondas, I'd recommend investing in a carbon stem and bars to dampen vibrations. I am about 190lbs and can stomp out some hefty watts while sprinting and climbing and I was worried that I would be able to feel some play in the coupling, but after a break in period of a couple hundred miles and re-torquing to specs, I don't feel any movement or hear any noises from the frame. I can easily keep up with the local fast group rides (21 mph averages) and sprint with the best of them on this machine. I don't feel in the least bit disadvantaged. And I can fit it in a suit case. Dream Machine. Oh, and I have the Medium. I'm 5'10 with a very long torso and short legs. As is my preference, It fits a bit tall for me (like a 56 when I'm closer to a 54), but it fits fine with a 130mm stem - slammed - and straight seatpost. Now I'm off to go ride it!

I picked this up when it was on special and built it up using parts I had on hand, hence the high value rating. I'm very pleased with the result. On the road, you can't tell it's a travel bike. The bike packs down to a compact size, although the packingunpacking process takes some practice. My one complaint is with the shift cables. You have to unscrew the cable adjusters to remove the handlebars. It's difficult to screw the adjusters back in, and you have to readjust both derailleurs after assembly. Overall, the quality exceeded my expectations.
