Effective electrolytes.
Mild flavors.
No sugar.
Options with caffeine.
It's possible to use double tablets for stronger mix, but I don't.

I bought the lemon-tea it was awful. I bought Nuun tablets before and they were okay but I don't recommend the lemon-tea. Better to make your own tea and add lemons and ice. This stuff just tasted bad.

Just returned from two weeks of riding multiple passes over 8300' in the eastern Sierra and used NUUN for the first time. The lemon-lime taste was far better than I expected and I did not have any cramping after riding. The area is semi-arid and I drank lots more water than I do at home in PNW and found NUUN to be palatable and seemingly effective. I like the electrolyte-only approach-hold the sugar. I plan to buy more.

Nuun many flavors for you all your picky taste bud. Cut it in half use a whole pill they fit in the pocket in the saddle bag, this way you can mask the taste of that unknown water source from that rusty fountain. Give's electrolytes to the body! Good price.

Light taste, easy to carry, lots of flavors. I like all but one flavor. Simle electrolyte mix, no sugar.
The option to have caffeine is great for really long rides.
I've tried most flavors, like all but 1.

Works well in my Hydo-pack. I can feel the difference especially on long rides.

one of my water bottles holds a nuun electrolyte drink, the other plain water.
my recovery time and general energy during a ride seem better with the nuun product than with out.

I use this product whenever I go out for longer than a couple of hours. I just put half a tablet in a bottle. It tastes great and works well. My favourite is the lemon-lime, but the tropical isn't bad. My only caution is not to use it exclusely over the course of a day. I find it dries the mouth a bit. Having straight water in one bottle and Nuun in the other works well if you cycle with 2 bottles like I do.

Bought some (lemon tea flavor) to bring along for a 135 mile training ride. I taste tested it before the trip and didn't like it but brought it anyway. Nuun was also a sponsor at the recent Seattle to Portland Bike Classic, so, again I tried it. I was hoping that they're waterNuun ratio, or maybe a different flavor, would have me thinking differently but, alas, no, I did not like the taste, which emulated plastic fruit, or the texture, which had a slight chalky feel. Too bad, the idea is great and the flavor options are enticing, but not actually tasty. Water is better and cheaper.

Great product not overly sweet. The Nuun has a great energy output. Good tase even on a hot day.

I return much better hydrated when using NUUN. It tastes great! Just enough flavor to make me want to drink more frequently and more total. There are some electrolytes and 6 calories per tablet, but you will want gels or other supplements for rides longer than a few hours.
I am no expert, i just read the label on the tube of Tri-Berry on my desk
NUUN does NOT contain salt, Sodium Chloride. The only sodium is a tiny small amount of Sodium Benzoate, a preservative, and Sodium Bicarbonate.

Not worth the money.

I was skeptical about the claims of better hydration. But I have one of those fancy scales that measures body fat, % hydration, etc. Did the same rides on plain water and Nuun...My scale show I'm better hydrated post-ride using Nuun. The electrolytes really do increase fluid absorbtion.
As an added bonus the flavors are great and really easy on your stomach. I used to struggle drinking enough of the popular sports drinks toward the end of a hard century...not so with Nuun. I've dropped sports drinks and rely on Nuun to hydrate, solids & gels for calories. If you've not tried Nuun you are missing out!

not sticky, not sugary or syrup like, tastes good even if isn't cold, easier to use than salt pills, less expensive than any gatorade products

I really like the convenience of these little tubes. They are super easy to bring with you on a long ride so if you fill up your bottles, you can just drop another tab into it-a lot easier than the powder in the baggie method I was using before. On top of that the taste is great and goes down easy even on long hot rides, and it doesn't make the water any thicker or syrupy like some mixes do.

Nuun is a great option for your water bottle, as it offers electrolytes and flavor without adding much sweetness. It makes for a refreshing drink rather than an overly sugary concoction. Even better - it comes in a convenient tab form, and the tubes are a great size for carrying around.

this product keeps me level through the long hot summer rides.

This is the drink option for people who don't want something very strong or artificial tasting. And the tablets are convenient to bring on longer rides. It kept me from getting too dehydrated on a century in hot weather and high altitude.

My family is pretty athletic. Tennis, swim, cycling, running, football, soccer, and generally working out in the heat. We generally stick to water and avoid gatorade like the plague. The whole family loves popping a Nuun tablet in our water bottle before excessive heat or sweating. Good stuff!

I haven't used many different e'lyte solutions, but I prefer the tabs to powder and can bring extra along for long rides. I use one tab in a 24oz bottle which is less than recommended and use 2 tabs in every other bottle if it's going to be a hot day, every bottle if I'm flagging. Mantra drink drink drink works great except for having to get off the bike frequently to visit nature. It can be a pain but must mean it's working.
