This puts out an incredible amount of light for such a small item. To turn it on you press the top button and hold it down for about 7 seconds. To turn it off do the same thing, this prevents it from accidentally turning on. The mount is not invasive so you can put it on your bike and not worry about needing to ever remove it. The light easily snaps on or off by depressing a lever and just sliding it. My only complaint is it comes with a USB charging cord and not a wall outlet plug. If you don't care to charge it to a USB port as I don't, you can purchase a USB to Wall Outlet adapter for $X plus $X shipping and handling from X. It's worth spending less than $X more to have the flexibility to charge it from a wall outlet. The item blinks red from the top button while charging and turns solid Blue when fully charged. A HEADS UP, I did some research on this item and despite it being called an ALL WEATHER item, some people have complained when the light got wet it failed. It is NOT waterproof. I simply remove my light when I go out in the rain. It has been of great help this Fall and Winter when it gets dark so early. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very bright and lights the road well. The one button control for the 4 modes can take a few tries to get the setting to your liking worst if you are wearing full finger gloves. Although, I don't think I have ever been able to access the walk mode as mentioned in the instructions. I would give it top ranking but find that in the high mode my light lasts just less than 1 hour before the switch blinks red. I think they claim 1 12 hours in the high mode. In the flash mode I get about 4 hours versus the claim of 8. Maybe I'm just not following the directions properly for the flash mode and flashing on high etc. Directions-instructions could be better written with a larger font. Excellent price from BTD!

I've been running a NiteRider 500 for over 2 years and decided to have a backup ready (I commute 18 miles each way on back country roads and suburban streets). The NR Lumina 750 was on sale so I ordered. It's slightly bigger and heavier than the NR Lumina 500. I plan on mounting one on each side of my Garmin 500 for Monday's commute.
HOWEVER, NiteRider really needs a new mount designer. The 500 mount rattled (solved by taping the light to the mount and removing the entire mount for recharging), but remained where I placed it for the duration of any ride.
The 750 mount is a HORRIBLE belt-like affair which is supposed to hook into a tiny tab that's hooked the wrong way. This is an awful, terrible, inane design and I just don't get who thought this fragile mount was better than the old mount. I'll accept some tape. I won't accept my headlamp flying off into traffic when the stupid band releases.
I'm sending this to the NiteRider folks also - I'm very disappointed in the mount while the light is best thing I've ever used for cycling in the dark.

Great light. Very bright and you can not go wrong with this purchase if you ride dusk or at night. When new charge lasts longer than advertised.

Would not hold a charge. Sent back for repair (had to pay for shipping), died again less than a year later.

no hassle with battery packs and wires all over the bike...can mount it on helmet or on bars. Great light when you need 2 like in a 12 hr or 24 hour race...one for helmet and something else on the bar.

This is a great light. Super bright with a great projection area that really opens up the road ahead of you. It has a great battery life and recharges QUICKLY. I had debated stronger lights but I'm glad I bought this one as it is perfect and kicks out plenty of light. The quick release makes it a snap as well!

4 stars for value because it's a bit expensive.
5 stars overall because it works extremely well. I ride to work before sunrise, and use the streetlights to see. I use the NiteRider Lumina 750 on its brightest strobe setting to make sure that I am seen. It works well, alerting less than careful drivers that might pull out in front of me to my presence. It even seems to alert drivers whose side windows are fogged over.
The light has a very wide and very long throw. I have Winwood carbon bars, that are somewhat ergo (not exactly circular) and taper a bit towards the headset. The mount works very well. Easy to get on, and easy to take off. It also holds a charge very well, seems to be as advertised.
I read a lot of professional reviews (on-line, magazines, etc.) before I picked this light over any others. I highly recommend this product.

This is the one light you need, bright, easy to use, heavy duty and all with no external battery pack.
Solidly built, very bright, and comes with a good helmet attachment, and handle bar mount.
Best of all, they have a customer service number with real people willing to help.

Wanted a light that was rechargable & self contained. After using regular battery powered lights that provided little illumination, this light has solved my early morning blind rides. It's absolutely dark 530 in the morning & this light even on low power is awesome. Can see the whole road width wise & for a very good distance.I switch to medium or high when i come upon road construction & the light is very bright on the higher settings. The light has remained on when the battry was low for 40 minutes allowing me to finish my ride .Easy on & off, stays put.I have used it for a flash light which will easily fit into your pocket .Great light.

This light was just what I was looking for. I ride quite a few miles on shaded secondary roads in North Idaho. Since you go in and out of shade a super bright light is very reassuring, so motorists can more easily see you. The light is easy to use and the instructions are very good. There is however an issue when using this light or for that matter any high output head or tail light. They will interfer with the transmitter on many of the wireless computers in common use. The interference is with analog wireless units. If you look closely at different computer companies, like Cateye, they have units that are digital and advertise they are not affected by electronic noise. Another way around this problem is to go to a wired computer because they don't need a transmitter. Either way, if you need a good high quality light, this unit is at the top of the list.

Good bright light for riding at night. Bright enough to use on mountain biking night rides.
