We bought some Michelin bike tires recently and they are just excellent. A good quality tire at a reasonable price.

When these tires are on the bike, you feel as if you're flying along - you push and the bike goes !!!! We look forward to buying more tires from BikeTiresDirect when we need them.

Great tire for the money. Very little resistance on the road and still rugged enough to handle some light trails.

These tires are good quality for a good price. My wifes 26 trek bike needed some love and she wanted me to remove the mountain bike tires and replace them with tires that could be more efficient on roads and still handle some off road use. She really likes these and we road on a rail trail last week and they were perfect.

I ride mostly on street and bike paths. This tire has great traction and very low rolling resistance. I went from a 1.95 to this tire which is a 1.85, very nice improvement.

Great budget friendly tire. I got these for my 8yr old sons bike. he has a little over 100 miles on his bike so far now. We are running them at 65psi and they are great. Good traction, much better rolling resistance than the knobbies that came on it. No puncture protection. The rubber is nice and thick, i would not expect glass to be an issue, only sharp metal objects. He ran over a thumb tack, put it right into the tire. had to patch the tube. Oh, these DO have a reflective strip in the sidewall, super bright white, great work.

Over all great tire, will buy again when these wear out.

Replaced the knobbies on my mountain bike with these Proteks and transformed my bike to a pleasant, easy to ride bike again. My mountain bike days are over, so I made the switch to street tires and glad I did. I didn't realize how much drag was being caused by the knobbies until I put the Michelins on. Needless to say, I'm very happy with these tires.

Seems like a really good tire. Just put these on 8yr old sons 26 xs frame bike. Cant wait to see his reaction. he rode 22 miles on 2.10 light knobby mountain bike tires with me, can't wait to see what he does on these! He loves going distance and theses should really let him get out farther with me. Tires are nice and tacky, really like the tread, just hat i was looking for moderately slick, but some tread if we have to go through grass or dirt. super happy. He says that roll a lot better and faster than his old tires.

Centers well on the bead when installing, holds the higher pressure like a champ, very low rolling resistance for its diameter, and grips well on pavement and chipseal surfaces....No long term report but very impressive in the short term...

Swapped out my mountain bike tires due to different trail surfaces (paved) and could not be any happier for having done so. Highly recommended.

Use bike everyday for workout (2 hours). Sturdy tire so I don't hasve to worry about flats all the time.

Smooth ride , great rolling resistance , no flats ,works great. 4 stars on value rating because we all know everything is way to expensive.

This tire performs better with a seemingly lower rolling resistance than my previous tire.

I got these tires to transform my old MTB into a City bike, and they are just great. My MtB behaves like an actual rodie bike.

Very well constructed, like the reflective sidewall stripe, a little tough to mount ( must use tire levers).

Smooth ride

Mounting to rims was reasonable,

Have them on a full suspension mtb in an effort to create a cross trainer.

Ride is smooth.

Happy with the outcome.

We ride on combinations of street, crusher paths and some dirt. These tires are high pressure so they roll fast on the street. The tread works well in dirt and on crusher fines. The reflective stripe on the sides is a nice touch. We've had the tires for a few months and so far, they ride great with no signs of wear. Very happy with this tire. Would choose it again.

I put these tires on my touring bike so that I'd have a wider tire to ride the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany. We rode it last week, at times in really bad downpours and the tires didn't let me down. We rode on paved trails, packed gravel, some not so packed gravel, dirt, mud and good & bad roads. I rode with a loaded front handlebar bag and a combo back truck bag with side panniers. Not so much as one flat. I definitely recommend these tires.
