No getting around it, bike tires are expensive but try riding without them! Michelin tires are my only ride and they last. After a couple of changes I can roll them on without levers which is definately a plus.

I ride 100 miles per week in the Burbank, Glendale, Montrose area of California.

I am glad to see this replacement to the Krylion back from Michelin. The Pro 4 endurance has the puncture resistance I need for long distance tandem racing, equal to the gators, but with a better rolling feel for speed. The tread surface is not as durable to cuts and they wear more quickly compared to the Gators. Requiring me to replace them a bit more frequently. But for me, a racing tire that I don't need to worry about flats mid-event, makes the pro 4 endurance a great option.

This particular tire has held up extremely well within the city for a regular 3x week commute of 30 miles. I do not sacrifice great feel for the road and get great puncture resistance compared to less expensive tires. Since going to the Michelin 4, I have not experienced a flat in the last year.

I go through two or three of these every year... they wear out because I put A LOT of miles on them. Other tires seem to flat more and can't handle the sharp basalt gravel we get from chip-seal and paving operations. The rubber compound is softer than most durable tires which makes them feel supple and they grip really well in the wet.... I have ridden them in ice which I do not recommend even though they performed remarkably well! They wear a bit quicker because of the soft compound but for my money it is worth it for the supple ride and the amazing grip in wet. The other soft compound tires I have tried seem to flat constantly. They found that sweet spot of soft, supple ride, good grip, durability and fairly low weight. I run them until most of the rubber is gone, have virtually no flats and happily buy another set....

I ride most of my miles on chip sealed roads. I'm getting 2500-3000 miles on my rear tires and more on the front. I have had zero flats or problems with these tires. I ride around 7000 miles a year.

I had the predecessor Krylon and got about 2500 to 3000 miles on those tires. I now have about 600 miles on the new tire and it apears to be working just as well as the predecessor. Saw no issues with flats or cuts. New tire is lighter so don't expect to get quite as many miles on these. Use tires for training and road racing, ride just over 6000 miles a year.

Use the tires for long training rides over many rough road conditions.

So far I've put about 200 miles on a set of these. Like the way they ride. No flats yet.

I switched from a set of Michelin Krylion Carbon tires to a set of Pro4 Endurance, and after nearly 700 miles, I'm impressed with the Pro4 Endurance. They have a much better road feel than the Krylions they replaced. They feel more like the previous generation of Michelin racing tires. The Pro4 Endurance doesn't feel as stiff or hard as the Krylions did in corners and on descents, and they have better grip. If the Pro4 Endurance wears as well as the Krylion Carbon tires did for me, then I'm staying with them. I haven't avoided bad road, and they've held up well, with no nicks or splits or cuts. This is a good training tire.

They originally came in 700 X 23 with red sidewall. I bought them because they made my bike look good. When the red sidewall was no longer offered in my size, I had to go to black. But despite the cosmetic disappoint, they are best tire I have ever used and allow me to ride without being constantly concerned with flats. The tire bead is really tight, and I have a hard time getting the tire off and on with arthritic hands. I carry Park tire irons, and I do mean irons, with me when I ride by myself to insure that I can change the tire if needed by myself. Have never needed them since I got the irons. These are the best tires, and I can count on them to go at least 1,000 miles before they start to look ratty.

I installed a set of Pro 4's on my Synapse to improve the comfort of the ride. They provided me with good grip, and a more forgiving ride, as they seem to absorb the road cracks.

I'm still very early into my usage of these tires and have not owned them before. Initially they feel very grippy given the lack of any tread pattern. They even picked up every spec of dust and hair on my garage floor on my way out for the first ride. I bought them for the reported combination of puncture resistance and low rolling resistance. I hadn't noticed them to roll any faster than my old gatorskins yet, but this could be my fault, as I think I need to run them a bit higher PSI. Got a good deal and quick delivery from Western. Very pleased with them.

I have been riding on Pro 4 Endurance tires for at least the last 7 or 8 years. I weigh about 185 lbs yet have been able to get at least 2,500 to 3,000 miles on these tires and often a bit more. I ride about 2,500 to 3,000 miles per season and usually put a new set of tires on each year or so. I ride almost exclusively on paved roads and have had maybe 2 or 3 flats of flats over that time period of 7 to 8 years. The tires perform very well and are solid in the corners.

These are decent tires for road riding and training. The treadmill wear is pretty good. However, if you get tires with colored sidewalls, Grey in my case, be warned that the tread may separate at the Junction of the colored sidewall, and peel loose. I've experienced this on multiple of these tires.

I was really looking forward to riding these, especially since I had a great experience with the tires these replaced (Lithium 2's). However, the rear tire popped (no puncture, the tube was intact) and had a rip or tear just shy of the bead, when though I took care not to overinflate them. A real shame.

I try and ride 6 days a week, part of the feel good club. I like the looks of the tread after a few hundred miles. No visible cuts compared to other brands.

I used the 25mm version on wider rims (Pacenti SL25, internal width 20mm) on a disc road bike for commute, and had great results. This seems to have the smoothest rolling among other wintertraining tires I've used so far Continental GP 4 seasons, Vitorria Rubino Pro G, Specialized Roubaix Pro.
