The Dynamic Classic is an excellent choice in a limited field for retro builds and restorations. Mounts easily, runs true -- and provides the older skinwall look. A few other options exist, but this Michelin tends to offer better value and availability. Multiple widths, too. I've used dozens.

Please be aware that when mounted my 28c labeled tires measured 30c when pumped up to 70 psi on a 19mm internal rim. This may cause issues with older brakes that don't have much tire clearance. This tire would rub the rear brake bridge on my old specialized allez. Make sure to double check your measurements. That being said on a different bike they ride nicely for the price and I haven't got a single flat commuting around the city in the year-ish I've used these tires. They look great too.

I use these tires on my everyday bike. I put a fair number of miles on these tires and they have performed and worn very well. So far, I am very happy with how they ride.

The 28mm size weighed in at 325 grams which is plenty light for general purpose. I climb a lot because it's unavoidable here and these make it easy enough. The nominal 28mm came out to nearly 30mm on fairly wide rims. The increase converts to comfort on an upright city bike. Pumped up to 80+ psi for speed rather than sightseeing, they feel agile without being twitchy and rough. All in all, they're a quick neutral cruising tire with a classic look that complements angular aluminum.

I refurbish older vintage steel bikes and need a tire the fits the period. The dynamic classic is the most affordable vintage looking tan sidewall available. It seems to ride good enough and so far with only a few hundred miles has held up against flats. When on sale they used to cost not much. HOWEVER, BTD DOES NOT DISCOUNT THEM MUCH ANYMORE.....HINT HINT. If they did I would buy more often. A second thing I like is the size of the 25 and 28mm are close to what the claim is- just a bit under on 19mm rims. Other companies can be way off! Bought some American Classics and their 25mm was actually 22.5mm! rip! If I wanted 23mm tires I already have a stack of them in the back.

That said these are a bit on the heavy side when compared to more expensive tires but thats to be expected given the price. A 25mm is about 310g each. Your adding about 80g per tire when compared to say a Conti 5000. It is rotating weight which will effect acceleration a bit. So if you are not a weight weenie nor are you pounding crits where every second counts you will be happy with this tire base on its affordability and cool vintage look.

These reasonably priced tires perform very well as a general workout and touring tire. Very happy with them.

I have an 88' Peugeot Triathlon. It originally came with Michelin Hi-Lite Road tires... I had been looking for a beige wall tire for a long time. I was told to checkout Bike Tires Direct and they had exactly what I was looking for!! The price was too good so I bought 3!!! Great company will do business with them again...

In my home shop, I build vintage racing bicycles for customers. The Michelin Dynamic Classic is a great go-to tire that provides a bit more modern tech, yet with an era-appropriate look, for my projects.

Put it on my single speed. Seems to work fine.

I am old school, still use tubes. These are great tires! Smooth and durable!

Ive yet to even take these for a spin, but from what im seeing, they're solid (typical Michelins). Quality control appears excellent, they mounted quite easily, and the price was hard to beat. Great service and shipping from BTD ( first-time customer,I believe).

I havent mounted and ridden these yet, but , but they look good, with no visible defects. They do appear true to size (28mm), which is good after having some other Michelins and Continetals run wider than stated. They do seem a bit thin on the tread, but considering the sale price, i cant complain. Hopefully theyre as long wearing as I've read. Shipping was very quick, so all in all, this was an outstanding first experience with BTD.

i bought these tires for my 1984 Trek 560 because they are a cheap replacement that gives that vintage gumwall look. the 700c25 are slightly taller than the previous tires that were on my bike. they rub against the underside of the brake caliper so im not sure how to fix this rubbing without either deflating the tire significantly or pulling the rim down lower in the dropouts which causes slipping of the rim within the dropout. seeking an alternative

Tires look great on the bike and didn't have to pay nearly as much as I was expecting for brand name tires.

I trust and enjoy Michelin tires. The gumwall looks great on my 1988 Gitane 12 speed bike. I would buy this tire again.

great training tire

Use these for training and general riding my road bike. Bought them on sale, and for the money they are great. Comfortable and fairly quiet. A little squirm on high speed turns, but 28mm width good for even mild trail riding on my road bike.

Affordable tire, have put around 200 commuting miles on it so far with no issues or strong signs of wear
