Fantastic trainer for those who use a trainer a lot. (More than 2 hours per week, especially in the wet Winters). Unlike standard trainers, you will not wear out your tires, and, more importantly, the rear axle bearings. (I wore out two rear axle sets before switching to this trainer.) I have mine set up in front of a television in a separate bedroom and use headphones. The wind noise from this machine is fairly loud so both the headphones and isolating yourself from the rest of the people in the house is important. Using it in a common space like an entertainment room is a deal breaker, in my opinion. It takes about five minutes to remove your rear tire and attach your bike to the trainer...no big deal. And, it is very important to be training on your actual bicycle and your seat rather than a separate trainer with different seat and frame geometry. If you can live with the noise, you have a perfect trainer. Don't forget, you will need to purchase a cassette to match that on your bicycle and install it on the trainer. I have purchased several extra small cogs - 11 and 12 tooth, as I run on these the most and as they wear down, I just replace them rather than the entire cassette.
