Ive got several hundred miles of road cycling in, using this helmet, in both warm and cold (freezing) temperatures. Overal its comfortable and light enough so youre not really conscious of it- a good thing. I liked the idea of the Kineticore approach, having been a MIPS user and fan for a couple of years. This helmet doesnt disappoint in any major way. In the colder temps I do find the fit a bit snug when wearing a thicker hat. Im a medium in a variety of helmet brands, with the Lazer Strava K'core, the winter hat takes the adjustment to the outer limit. Comfy for me 7 1/4, but perhaps not ideal for 7 3/8+. Just my opinion.
Im happy with this purchase, as always, BTD customer service is the best.

the helmet is nice, light, and airflow is good. but i don't understand why companies are doing away with the sunglasses slots, it is such a nice feature that costs nothing.

not an expert on helmets but wanted a step up from the entry-grade at local discount stores. this has a great fit and not nearly as bulky as the entry-grade helmets. the only problem is very general in nature and probably applies to a lot of helmets: the stickers just inside the rim make it hard to stick velcro for a mirror. I realize these stickers are required for compliance and liability but it would be nice if the spots near each temple could be free of impediments for attaching a mirror with velcro. despite this limitation, i wouldn't hesitate to buy another helmet in this series.

After measuring my head at 58 cm I ordered the medium (55-59 cm), which is what I have in other helmets from Giro and Specialized. The fit felt great out of the box but was painfully tight after about an hour of riding, with a pressure point right in the middle of my forehead (strange pad placement compared to other helmets). With some adjustment and a couple weekss riding the helmet has 'worn in' and fits well now, but if in doubt get the larger size. I should have left the tags in and worn it for an hour around the house, making use of the free returns from BTD, I'll know for next time!
I ordered the Aeroshell from Lazer (I hope BTD stocks them soon) and that's been an amazing addition for commuting. Keeps the wind, rain and insects at bay without overheating in the fall/winter weather here in the Sacramento area.

This helmet did not feel right immediately after trying it on. So I exchanged it for a Giro Syntax MIPS. The Lazer really surprised me about how uncomfortable it was for me. The Giro Syntax felt far more comfortable on my head. However it sits very low. Which is okay, but is a little difficult to adjust to.

I had a Large Lazer Blade+ w/MiPS technology helmet, and it was a great helmet. I passed that one down to my son, and purchased the Strada in size Medium. The price was very affordable. I also purchased the Aeroshell direct from Lazer to keep the cold air out during the winter.

I like the helmet overall but what I really like is that the adjustment to tighten is up on the helmet in a treadmill design. It's easily accessible compared to some that are below and a little harder to get to.

Initially not as comfy as expected, but I quickly forget its there. Seems to grab more from front to back with the occipital cage on the back. No slipping or wobbling from side to side though. Nice to avoid the add on MIPS interior plastic which gets brittle over time.

This product is made for those of us with a larger sized head. Lightweight and fits well. Looking for XL in other colour as this is now my go to helmet. Very pleased with styling, fit and comfort.
