My winter cycling shoes/boots in lieu of shoe covers and double socks. Have thus far used them in dry weather with temps in the low 30s. Very comfortable and toasty warm with one pair of light wool socks. I ordered one size larger. My USA 9 1/2 D translated to a European Size 43 . . . exchanged the size 43 for size 44. Perfect!

these shoes have worked well in below 0 weather so far this winter, on cold wet days, and seem like they'll be good for wet rides in warmer weather. they're reasonably light. with some good wool socks, they do a good job blocking wind and keeping feet warm. i haven't ridden in drenching rain conditions yet, but they've kept my feet dry in wet snow and moderate rain with lots of puddles around. sizing seems weird on these. my normal road shoes are sidi, size 43.5, and fit like gloves. i ordered 44 in these and had to exchange for a 45. these fit better, but there's no heel cup, so the fit's a little weird in the back. it sort of feels like putting your foot in a chimney. maybe it will break in over time and feel less like they're going to wear holes in my socks heels. regardless, i'm pleased with these shoes so far.
