I recently bought a Giant Expressway 1. It came with these tires the Kenda K193s
I ride along with my dog on a lease. The rolling resistance is so good that I hardly ever peddle on flat surfaces
I am thinking of replacing the Continentals on my mountain bike with these tires

this tire fits so much better on my folding bike than the previous tires that were wider and rubbing on the fenders. I am one happy customer and I thank you

I've had 26 X 1.25 Kenda Kwest 100 PSI tires on two different recumbents run almost 2000 miles each! Bought a new set of 26 X 1.5 for a hybrid tandem. Very good ride and a good balance of low rolling resistance versus longevity and traction. Seems to do well with the extra weight of a tandem. The 100 PSI really cuts down on rolling resistance. The high pressure tires in these sizes are a little unusual so I was glad to find them right here in Portland.

I have a dual recumbent and go through tires about one set a year. The key to wear is to keep inflated to 100. I usually check all 4 tires for pressure, every day I ride.

Purchased a set of these tire back in March, 2012. I got 2100 miles on this set so far with no flat and these tires are still great! I'm a 145 lb rider on a 43 lb bike plus 15 lbs of extra stuff for my daily commute. The rear tire is worn out and it seems like I can squeeze another 500-1000 miles out of it and I wouldn't push it beyond that. It's too risky... The front tire still has 80% of its thread left. I'm thinking of rotating the tire but everyone in my professional bike shop are against the idea. They suggested that the best tire should always be in the front. When the price is right, I'll buy this tire again within the next 6 months. Noted that, I used an old tube inside as the tire liner. I highly recommended this item to everyone.

I purchased the Kenda Kwest tires in 20 x 1.5 size for my Dahon folding bike. I got the high pressure 100 psi version. They replaced similar Kenda tires which were 65 psi max. I am very pleased with the performance and quality of these tires. The rolling resistance is greatly reduced compared with my previous Kendas, which you would expect considering the higher inflation pressure, but ride quality is still good. They were easy to mount and run true. The only nitpick I have is the prominent kendatire.com label on the sidewall which looks a little strange, but that's it. I haven't run them long enough to judge wear or durability but performace so far is great.

I have a really nice older Trek mountain bike that I no longer use for off road riding but wanted to use it for bike paths/street. I purchased the Kenda K193 Kwest (100lbpressure) and it really reduces the pedaling effort and greatly increases average speeds over the big knobbies. So far I really like the tire, but be careful on slick or wet surfaces as there is little traction due to minimal tread pattern. Works great on the dry though... I would recommend it .....

I use these tires on both of my recumbent bicycles , and love the way they ride . they are smooth, fast rolling, and quality tires.

I used them for replacement tires on MTB that currently have knobby tires installed and want a smooth ride.

In August of 2011, my wife and I cycled the entire Oregon Coast from the State of Washington to the State of California. We ventured out self contained pulling our Burley trailers and gear. My trailer utilized the above mentioned tires. They performed flawlessly! Great handling, no flats, and little rolling resistance other than that expected from pulling a trailer and gear. I was impressed!
Recently, I returned back to this tire after trying out a competitors. It did OK, but not nearly as well as the Kenda K193. Whatever your needs, I might suggest you give these a try. I was impressed!

Have a set on my Sun EZ1 recumbent...happy with them so far...have a few hundred miles on with no issues. This higher pressure tire does provide a little firmer ride than the stock tires

I bought this tire for my wife. She has a giant mountain bike with the knobby tires. As I have a road bike and we do a great deal of riding on asphalt, I wanted to get her some easier riding tires. Bought these, because they were inexpensive, but man they have been pretty reliable and very nice riding. Also have done some riding on state gravel trails and they have not been a problem with popped tires and so forth. She likes these tires a ton, as they save on her energy usage and make it able for her to ride much longer.

Great shipping options and price that can't be beat. I've changed tires and glad I did

Was looking for tires that would covert my mountain bike into something more ridable on streets. This tires perfectly fit my mountain bike wheels and besides that it is a high pressure model 100psi perfect for street riding. Very happy with it and now it is much more smoother and comfortable to ride on street pavement.

This is pretty good tire. It is slick, but it has plenty of traction.

I put these on my mountain bike and then went back to buy another set for my Trek hyrid. Love them

This works on my Strida v3 folding bicycle. Unfortunately the v3 isn't high pressure tire compatible so I keep them around 40 psi on these nylon rims. However the Strida LT is high pressure capable and I think these would work perfectly with them as well. Overall a good tire for the cost, unless you want to go with an airless tire (which is twice as expensive, plus you'll need a fancy tool to put it on). Otherwise get these tires, works right out of the box, shiny and new.

I'ts a great tire and has 300mi on it without problems and gains speed changing from knobby tires. But little bit expensive as for me.

Using these on a mountain bike for commuting. I have over 2500 miles on other Kenda Kwests without a single puncture. These tires fit perfect, install easily, no need to stretch them on. The new sidewall design is a little blah - large plain white letters on plain black tire. Fine with me, though - I bought them because they are excellent tires, and the price can't be beat.
Glad to hear that you got a lot of use from these tires. We agree with your local bike shop that traction in front is very important. If you need to replace your rear tire, you can either replace both, or move the front tire to the rear and put a new tire on the front.
Thanks,
Theo
