received this lid during the past winter. i was intrigued because of its ability to open and close the vents, letting you choose being aero if and when you need it. I also like that with the vent closed itll allow me to use it during winter without using a cap inside the lid. so far it worked wonderfully during the winter. it provided enough warmth that I didnt need anything else over my head. Its now early spring and so far I still use it with the vents closed without overheating. I once tried opening the vent during a long ride and I could definitely feel the air rushing in. whether it will be comfortable during summer I still dont know, I hope it does since this is the most comfortable lid I have ever used.
