For some reason as I've gotten older, nearing a half century, I get dehydrated easier. These are my go-to to prevent cramping due to dehydration. Grapefruit is my favorite.

I am a heavy sweater and need lots of sodium. I put two Fizz in a water bottle and supplement with capsules. Lime Lime and Grape are my two favorite flavors. Had stomach issues with other products - but I do randonneuring, so 12-18 hours on the bike can put stress on digestion.

Not too sweet and has minerals needed

I really like the mango flavor of these Hammer no-sugar electrolyte tablets. The fizz just makes a mess in my opinion, forcing liquid to weep out of the valve if your bottle is entirely closed.

this is good for longer or hot rides, tastes pretty good, and dissolves fast

I ordered this to cut out the carbs from sugar in the average sports drink. The sweetness of powerade or gatorade almost gagged me once it had warmed up. This is not so sweet like that and is palatable while warm.
However keep in mind, you will need to replace those carbs in other ways on longer rides. Wish it came in a caffeinated version!

Full of electrolytie goodness at an excellent price. Lemon lime tastes like goat urine

I tried these as an alternative to Nuun which I really enjoy. I like the simplicity of both brands, but these Hammer Nutrition tablets are seriously lacking in flavor. I wouldn't buy them again.

Don't do a ride without some of this in my bottle. Mango flavor is yummy, cheaper than buying at your local shops - thank you Bike Tires Direct!!

Last year I was concerned that the only electrolyte replacement available at a local century ride was Gatorade. For me Gatorade has too much sugar and too much salt, it bothers my stomach. As it turned out the Hammer nutrition rep had a booth at the bike expo. She gave me a couple of handfuls of individually wrapped Fizz tablets. These worked great. I avoided cramping and unlike other replacements I have tried they don't taste like sweat and don't need to be chilled to be drinkable. The packaging is convenient too. I prefer LemonLime and Mango to Grapefruit. I think they are a little expensive and you need to be careful the first time you open the bottle because the effervescence can cause the liquid to squirt out. These are the best I have tried.

The Fizz tablets dissolve quickly and fully. Easy to drink even when you are breathing hard. Not too sweet or heavy.
Pack a few when refilling bottles during the ride.

This tastes great (I got the grapefruit flavor) and it's not too sweet. I've used it for my mid-distance runs (10-15 miles) and felt pretty good. The effervescence is delightful.

I was using various powders to add to my water. Since those powders are usually mostly sugar, I wanted to better regulate my carbohydrates and not get unnecessary fuel every time I took a drink. I use 2 or 3 Endurolyte Fizz tablets per 750 ml (large) water bottle. This gives me the water and electrolytes I need and I can better decide what food I need to eat in addition, rather than getting sugars I may not need with every drink. Endurolyte Fizz tablets have a light, clean natural taste. I particularly enjoy the mango and the lemon/lime flavors. They don't make me feel bloated or upset my stomach. For some extreme rides, I may still add carbohydrate calories to my water, but for 99% of my rides, I prefer to keep only electrolytes in my water and carefully regulate my calorie intake with real food separately. Besides, I find eating real food is far more satisfying than drinking calories in your water. Everyone needs to figure out what works best for them, but watch the envious looks from guys who only have "miracle" carbohydrate powders mixed in their water when the rest of us pull out tasty real foods to eat.
