Goretex or not, it needs better ventilation
I like this jacket. It's well-designed, with good material. The fabric is breathable. In coolish weather it's a winner, but as the temp warms this jacket's total lack of ventilation becomes a problem. So it's a good jacket but it would be an excellent jacket if it had pit zips andor cape ventilation on the shoulders. I still gave it 4 stars, just wish I could have gave it 5.

nice jacket.
nice shell jacket. use it for cold weather riding as outer layer and outdoor speed skating as well. I'm 5'11, 168 pds. and the medium still gives me enough room for layers. i have long arms and sleeve length is fine. rear zip pocket and a phone pocket with hole for corded earbuds.

Good for warmth, but I returned it. To noisy and thick for my need
