Bought these (size L) to see if they would fit my Giro Cinder MIPS (size M). The forehead pad fits almost perfectly-even the center notch lines up-and is also a little thicker than the original one.

Haven't tried the top-of-head pads, because mine don't need replacing. But I'd bet they work too.

Not a bad solution to continue using a trusty helmet that they don't sell replacement pads for. And with the antimicrobial Xstatic, these are better than generic ones you find elsewhere.

Much better. Do yourself a favor and buy 2. Never have a stink bomb around your skull again.

Bought the Giro helmet and 6 months later the headband (front) pad was coming unstuck from it's velcro base. Pretty poor! My first Giro helmet and I am disappointed!! Previously had always had good luck with a cheaper helmet, no problems with the padding.

The sweat pads in my Montaro helmet were falling apart after months of heavy use (in Texas-it's hot, humid, and sweaty). The main pad no longer stuck to the Velcro attachment points. These new pads made the helmet like new again. And they seem to be improved (more robust construction) over the originals that came with the helmet and the warranty replacements that Giro sent me-but it's hard to say for certain.

The giro montaro helmet, although really nice, seems to get gunked up and smelly after a few sweaty riding sessions. Once it got so bad that it began to irritate my skin. You can wash the pads but that only works a few times... best solution is just to replace them. Although these aren't the same color as the pads that came in my original helmet, I don't care. These are perfect for the job.

These fit in the helmet exactly and seem to be better than the ones that were in my helmet originally (maybe they changed the design in the time since I bought mine?). It is a little bit like windshield wipers, you always wish you would have changed them sooner once you get the new ones in. It is SO nice to have fresh pads.

I could have soaked all the sweat out of the old helmet liners, but they were already falling apart. The new ones made the helmet feel new again (no sticky, sweaty pads against my head).
