Love this helmut, especially over the 'Prolight' improvements. Much better fit over the head, secure fitting and makes you feel like there's nothing on your head.

This is for road bike use. I purchased it for the review on ventilation since my head stays very hot. The helmet shell seems large, even in a size small and the clasp is small and difficult to handle. My head is cooler in this helmet, the true test will be when the weather heats up.

True to size, excellent fit. This uber light helmet works as advertised, light, well ventilated and comfortable.

I have now owned three different Giro helmets over the years, and the Aeon is the best one so far.

It's extremely light weight, plenty of ventilation, and the fit is very precise, and can be adjusted to your head.

The straps feel good as well. No worries if you decide to buy this one, you can't go wrong !

I've been riding Giro on my head for over 20 years! This is by far the lightest and most comfortable helmet I've ever used. My Atmos was about 4 years old and the harness inside was cracking. I wanted another light helmet and this is by far the best!

This is my 3rd Giro helmet, but this first in nearly 3 years. Why did I wait so long? I am amazed at the improved air flow, fit and weight. This lid feels secure, sleek and super light.

I agree that it is very light and ventilates well, the blue, black and white colors work for me. The straps, well I don't really notice them so that's good and the retention device is easy to use. I got the helmet on sale, but was already considering buying it full price. For me the combo of looks, comfort and functionality makes it worth every penny.

Great airflow, which is nice in warm weather.

Easy to fit to my head, even over winter caps.

Lighter than my old helmet, which is nice for my neck on long rides.

Just what I was looking for to replace my old lid, which had taken a bump or two over the past couple of years.

This is a great helmet with easy adjustment. It was on sale and I used some of my VIP points, so it was only about [$], not a bad deal at all.

I got this on closeout, this is my go-to helmet. This is 3 for me, 1 is now about 4 years old and 2 is still in daily use. The cool thing is that you can buy replacement pads from BTD too. I only wish they made a way to replace the strap system, but if you run it under water after rides you can clean it up.

This helmet is awesome! I love Giro, but this is hands-down the best cycling helmet I have ever owned. It's stylish...It's light...It feels like you are not wearing a helmet at all. I've been on long hot rides and get amazing air circulation to keep me cool. More importantly, I have avoided the sore neck syndrome from opposing the gravity & airflow drag of a heavier helmet! I'd recommend this helmet to anyone...but especially those needing comfort without sacrificing safety on the long roads ahead.

It was time for a new helmet and I have always purchased Giro. It fits, is easy to adjust, light, and looks great. I rate this a 5 both for quality and value.

This helmet is light weight and has great airflow to keep your head cool. I really like the new thinner strap material and the adjustablity for a good fit.

I have been an avid cyclist since 1987 and have had several skid-lids over those years. This has been the most comfortable and best ventilated one for me so far. I would buy it again. I just hope to never really need it for its intended purpose, if I do I hope to be able to give a positive follow-up review!

Awesome fit and feels great on. Which is essentially what you need in a helmet, besides the crash durability but I haven't tested that out with this one yet. Reason I bought this helmet is because the last giro helmet saved my life in a crash over thanksgiving weekend 2011, so I keep my faith in the company that kept me around. Back to the helmet, the only partial negative thing I could say is the ratchet wheel to tighten the fit is much smaller compared to other helmets I have tested, but when you consider the light weight and fit it provides, you understand the reason behind it. Overall great helmet as it should be for top if the line gear. Looks great too.

This is one great helmet the roc 5 system works great so the fit can be adjusted on the fly. Very light and cools almost to good.

aeon helmet is very light ,I ride 150 miles a week in off season and it has been fine.Really do not have any dislikes about helmet.

I use this product for safety while riding on my road as well as my mountain bike, so it is versatile. I like the adjustability of the retention system it is fast and will give a good snug fit. I have had several Giro helments and all have been very good. The only thing that is not to my liking is the price of entry on this helment.
