I have these sensing devices on all seven bikes. They work great using the same Garmin 520 on all bikes. The price here was the best I found on the internet.

Garmin Sensor 2 combo is a great deal! The sensors only takes a couple of minutes to mount and pairing is simple. If you like an easy sensor to use, this would be a great choice.

Very simple setup, box came with different retention devices that met the needs of my crank arm size. Pairs with my Garmin Edge within seconds.

Works great attached to front wheel. When attached to rear wheel, speed was inconsistent and would fluctuate wildly. I'm using Garmin Edge 520 Plus.

I was tired of my GPS head unit giving inaccurate miles and speeds. Decided to put these babies on it to clear up confusion and have an accurate metric to my bike riding experience. Works like a charm. I knew I was going faster than the GPS alluded.

I've been using Garmin technologies for many, many years ranging from Fenix watches and various bike computers (Edge 530, 830 and 1040). They are all fantastic and communicate flawlessly with Garmin bike speed & cadence sensors 2. These sensors are a great value, easy to install and battery life is excellent! Never had a need to compare Garmin against other brands namely due to complete satisfaction with Garmin. I can say if you have a rare occasion where you have an issue, Garmin technical support and customer service is fantastic.

Was having trouble with my speed sensor due to the wheel magnet slipping. My son had these and I thought the design was better than the common magnet-and-sensor variety. Installed easily, paired quickly with head unit (Karoo 2), and has been trouble-free since. Cannot ask for more!

Great! Easy to install on the bike and connected with my Garmin 810 pretty quickly, once I figured out the correct settings. Comes with full batteries, and started up and had been working reliably since.

Ordered these to work with my new Karoo Hammerhead II and I was pleasantly surprised how easy they paired up together! They work great on my road bike, couldn't ask for anything more! Great price, super fast shipping, definitely scored! If you're in need of some sensors and are biking on a budget, these are the ones to grab!

As a new Garmin 830 user I was disappointed at how slow it was at updating speed in GPS only mode. I could see from my old bike computer that the Garmin display was often way off. The speed sensor fixed it right up. I bought the speed-cadence bundle because it was on sale and they’ve both worked great: easy install and pairing, head unit detects them and any other sensors with no effort.

Both my wife and I have these to connect to our Garmin 520+ computers. They are easy to mount on a wheel and the cranks, and it is easy to adjust the location if you find yourself hitting the cadence sensor with your stroke.

These are great for trainer use, giving you interesting data when you have to ride in place. Meanwhile, if you have to load your bike for a drive for a ride, the speed sensor is a bother. It will register each walk from house to car as a ride, and post that amazing data to strava. Took it off after getting kudos on one too many .39 mile rides.

These work well, but I didn't ask for clunky-looking items to mount on my crank arms and hubs. Why did Garmin discontinue the dual sensor that mounted neatly on the chain stay. Probably because all of those that I owned eventually failed. All they needed to do was update the housing and seal it better.

This combo was really easy to set up and use. The only issue was the mounting system for the speed sensor. The bands aren't long enough to accommodate an internally geared hub but I was able to add an additional band I had. Using it on my recumbent on an older trainer to add some stats for motivation. Easy to pair with my phone and Garmin vivoactive 3 watch once you get the hang of it.
