This is a good training tire. It adds noticeability to your ride. It's durable and nicely priced. I've gotten a few thorns in it during commute. But I have yet to find a economy tire that is 100% thorn proof.

I ride once a week on typical roads, 40-80 miles. These tires have great gripping, durability, no flats yet after 500 miles so a plus. I rated them low because they are suseptable to pitting from rocks and road debris, I have multiple pits right now and scratches from asfalt. I expect to only get 1000 miles from these before I question the durability but 100% better than the vittoria's I had previously. A note to make, I got the White tires, they match my bike so it is so easy to see condition and pitting since as they pit I see black where white should be. I may not have any more pitting than previous tires, its just a lot easier to see.

Cheap tires, would be OK at a low price, but overpriced at [$] each. Tires I received (ordered 3)had 2 made in Taiwan, 1 made in Thailand.

Converted my 20 year old Trek 8000 hard-tailrigid fork aluminum (very early) MTB to a road bike. Replaced V-Brakes with SRAM road calipers. Bike is white with blue labeling. Cables are white. Rims are white. Brake calipers are white. Bar tape blue. Tires blue. It works!

These came standard on my Motobecane. I've put about 600 miles on them with out a flat. I generally ride about about 16.5 miles an hour on pretty clean highways, but have hit a few bumps and glass along the way. And I keep the pressure at about 100 PSI. They feel a bit heavy, but otherwise no complaints. If I was buying new they look expensive.

I've been using Continental tires for 20 years and the Ultra Sport just works. It holds up well- I can usually get a season's worth of riding (5K) out of them. Several of my rides are on county roads with rough pavement and potholes and I very seldom get tread cuts. I can usually mount them on my wheels with just my fingers or at worst, a couple of tire irons. I feel they are a pretty good value- especially on sale at Bike Tires Direct!

The price was great and have logged over 1000 miles on these tires. I am impressed with how they held up, no cuts or holes, like some others I had that were more expensive. I ride on chip sealed roads and other roads that have debris on them. They have held up fine, I am buying some more

I used Ultra Gatorskins, Ultra Race and Ultra Sports for the past 6 years and would recommend them to anyone. I've run these U sports up to 2200 miles without a single puncture. I've installed on many customers bikes that I do work on and they all are very satisfied with them. They hold up quite well and if you do have a tire ending accident then you're not out $45 - $60. Buy a set for under $50 and change them every 2000 miles.
I've had these tires up to 48 mph and through turns at 30 and they held like glue. Chip seal roads don't tear them up. I have them on 3 personal bikes with a total of 6500 miles and ZERO flats.
Highly recommended!
