I use these tires to commute an average of 32 miles a day roundtrip through city streets, with just a few dirt paths thrown in, and weekend rides into the mountains. Using the 700x32 size. They mounted easily on my rims by hand (Mavic Open Sport, 20mm rim width, I believe). No flats yet, they seem durable. I'm a big guy 200 lbs, and the ride is pretty quick and smooth for a commutingtouring anti-flat tire, and pretty good as far as speed. These tires are on my classic 80's road bike that I take up to the big hills and mountain rides, too. They're nice as far as descending corners, wet handling has been fine (we don't get much rain these days, only used twice in the rain) but I'm a safety-minded family man, YMMV if you're a kamikaze on descents. These tires are a good choice for an all-arounder type of bike. I'm hoping the stories I've heard about longevity and flat-protection hold true and make these a good deal in the long run.

Was needing slicks for my CX bike to be able to put in those long distances on the road without having to buy a road specific bike. The Continental Sport Contact Tire was the perfect solution. Even with being a larger tire and providing a bit more rolling resistance I am still able to hang with bigger roadies. The Sport Contact is pretty grippy and great for dry and wet weather conditions.

I put this on the front of my commuter bike. Which is a Kona Min-ute. So it sees lots of hard work, much crap in the road, and heavy weights. My commute is a 13 mile one way slog up and down some big hills. This corners well, has held up the crap on the sides of the road, off road use, and seems to roll really nicely. I'm quite happy with it. Unsure if I want something that narrow on the rear of the bike, but no need to decide until I wear that tire out.

I bought these to run on the street on my 29er. They worked great for that. I thought I'd try them on the tandem for early spring rides while the roads are still cluttered with winter debris and pot holes. Love these tires. We are a 360 lb team on a Cannondale road tandem. We usually ride 700 x 28 Gator Hardshells. So far this Spring our rides have been 25 to 35 miles on suburban roads with a 12 mph computer average. These tires absorb pot hole hits, roll over all the cinders left from melted snow, roll fast on clean pavement, and feel very connected to the road in turns. I may just keep them on for the whole Summer. PS. Although they are marked 37 wide, they measure 35 wide when inflated to 75 psi recommended or 85 psi max, so there is ample clearance.

Not cheap tires, but you just can't beat Continental for grip and puncture resistance. Absolutely superb, and much faster rolling than the stock tires on this hybrid.

Only brand of tire I now purchase. Easy rolling, long lasting and puncture resistant.

I installed these tires on my Cannondale Adventure 400 in 2011, have put over 3000 miles on them, and have just now replaced them. I have also installed these tires on my wife's Cannondale M400 mountain bike and my new Cannondale Bad Boy. The tires ride fast and are comfortable. Fantastic product.

Using the Black 700x32 tire on my 2001 (last year made in the USA) Raleigh C-40
hybrid. Ride these on the Las Cruces, NM streets on days up to 110F degrees. Since it almost never rains here, nor gets clouds, cannot comment on rainy or cloudy weather ). Runs good in the high heat and I get about 2-3K miles on a set. I don't get any flats though have to use thick tubes for the goathead burs etc. everywhere. The only downside of these tires is when I run into sand and very small gravel on the road (straight line or turning) which makes for a very slippery situation with these tires. If the sand etc. is prolific, time to walk the bike thru it, rather than fall off it. Otherwise, no complaints, they look great on my bike and certainly the price is right here on this site.

After switching to these tires from a Michelin city tire, there was a noticeable difference in rolling resistance. These Continentals feel much quicker and more responsive in steering than any other tire I have used. I think the combination of high thread count, slick tread, and higher max PSI (I run the 32s at 80 - 85 psi) all contribute to a great-feeling tire. I don't tend to push it too much in cornering, so I can't say whether these tires grip more or less than others in extreme situations. I haven't had any flats with these either, probably due to a combination of the lack of tread (sharp stuff doesn't get caught and wedged into it) and the safety system Continental uses. I have about three years and a few thousand miles on my first pair of these, which I use most days for a 27-mile commute, and the tread on the rear tire is starting to square off a bit, but it has lasted as long or longer than that of other comparably priced tire.
The only complaint I could lodge against these tires is that with the reflex reflective sidewall version, the reflective strip can peel a bit, but this has no bearing on the function of the tire.

I use my tires for very damaged concrete street riding. Very reliable.

I like the road feel of the Sport Contact. Good connection to the road, ride is not harsh.

I commute and these tires are fast and cool, the rubber seems to get better after the first 100 miles. the tyres are big enough to get me out of road seams and potholes, and they take some abuse but feel quick like road tires. It never rains here so they are great.

I bike 100 miles plus per week on a Hybrid bike. This is the second set I have used in the last years. They made the bike quicker and lasted - 4000 miles cant beat that.

Super fast and beefy (when compared to a 23, a size I've always been used to). Highly recommended.

I was talked into these tires for my Rans V-Formula 26. They were immediately noticable as being VERY SLOW compared to 2 other sets of tires I had ran before. Also, they are a real PITA to mount. Worst tires I have ever mounted, and I have worked in three bike shops and owned 40 bikes. I like Continental tires, and this is the only Continental I can NOT recommend.

roll well and I have 1200 miles on them this summer with no flats. however, these tires are so tight there is no way you could change a flat mid-ride. Way too much effort to get off the wheel - unlike any other tires I've used with my touring wheel. I'll be using this set on a wheel designated for the indoor trainer.

These tires are really good.... they ride pretty soft, and have lasted me several miles. I will probably replace mine after a year or riding, just to have new tires to do the MS 150.
Good value, great shipping... just make sure you catch them when they have sales....

I agree with the other 2 reviews about this tire. The 28cm came as OE on the rear of my Rans bent. I wanted to have a bit bigger tire so I bot the 32cm version, now the dirty little secret of it seems most all tires as the sizes get bigger, the true measurments gets further away from the stated size. The 32cm measures slightly UNDER 30cm...(the 28cm measures 28cm). Few tire manu. tell you this before hand. I've only between 1 and 2K combined on both tires, but so far no flats or other problems and the tire seems to be a pretty good value. On the front of my Rans is the 20 version and it's too has been rolling along fine with no problems...

Over three thousand commuting and day-tripping miles, so far, no flats, cuts, or other problems. The rear tire still has its round profile, I believe I'll easily finish the rest of the year on the pair. Over inflation is a bad idea at the recommended maximum they give a very jarring ride. I'm a bit over two hundred pounds with a loaded bike weighing in at approx. 35 pounds, I have been running at 80 to 82 psi rear and 75 psi front for a touch of comfort. No pinch flats.
